  1. Good thread 36racing, saves me posting in the Losi.com forum. I'll let you choose which 1/8 model to put me down for, as I own/owned almost all of them. Just taken delivery of the last of Losi's Excelorin 2400kv motors (in blue) as they've now got Fuse (in red) making all their gear now, though I'm still unsure if castle are still producing all their internal parts.
  2. @ Bulletflux - Where do you post pictures of truggies, in the section that sates Buggies, Truggies & Stadiums. What a prized ****er. Get a life troll.
  3. I have an EK4 S2 as well, Can get parts for it though, So it's ebay soon. Just needs a radio tray & radio gear and it's good to go.
  4. Never knew a Hyper 7 was a car, But I could be wrong. Do you not have spell checker on your PC..... Thees!!! Didn't you attend school?
  5. I'd go for a Losi 8T 2.0 race roller and spend the rest on a decent engine, Rx & Tx You can pick up a 2nd race roller hand for
  6. I really can't fault my Ansmann Vapor, It does exactly what it's supposed to do.... Propping my shed door open when I work in their, I've attached it to the door so when I open it, It rolls out then rolls back in when I close the door. What more could you want from a buggy.
  7. Good luck with selling it mate.
  8. Depends how bad the crack is? I used off cuts of lexan shells and heat them with a hairdryer to fit under the said crack then use some clear airfix glue, Apart from that, if it's bad then buy a new shell.
  9. I own the 2.0B and have that many upgrades on it, It's now close to the EU spec. Excluding the 46T spur and adjustable hinge pins. I run the Proline bulldog shell which I prefer to the EU shell. And I've seen both 2.0 & 2.0EU run together and their's a very fine line in performance between them. My choice is the 2.0B as you can upgrade it to the EU for less money than buying an EU.
  10. Wheelspin Models have a large range of monster truck shells, Their was a rumour on the yank sites that a clear uncut Revo 3.3 shell would fit an XXL. But I can't confirm this.
  11. Oh god, not you as well, Jamem, Please tell the members of this forum how many threads have been about best fuel?? I'm sure the Mods could post a section of top ten BEST - Fuels, Batteries, Glow plugs, Buggies, Truggies......... The list is endless
  12. It's great to see you haven't wrapped it in a silly plastic clear bag for fear of dust ruining it. Are you that afraid that dirt and dust will destroy your RC's??
  13. Oh dear god, Not another BEST thread, This is becoming the in thing now.
  14. Put a torch on your head and a big elastic band under your chin and over the torch, Now you have head lights. Most people buy the led kits and drill holes through their body shells, But since you haven't stated this in your post, I'm unsure if you mean scale replica lights or real led lights and to what purpose are they to be used for. Just cable tie a glow stick to the front & rear bumper and off you go, I do this when night bashing on grass.
  15. And here we have another useless thread, Which comes up every so often, Started by some plum who had nothing great to add to a forum. Apart from..........Best.....(just add any word to do with RC) You've already stated you were running on Byron's, And look at your list of RC cars next to your post, Don't you know how to use after run oil on your toys??? So close the thread with what YOU think Jevan, is the best fuel. And start at the beginning of how to care for your RC's
  16. My friend works in customs and if their unsure on the cost stated on the packaging, they'll open it and check the british price online. You paid $269.12 =
  17. I built both of my XL's from kit form, I have the force .36 in 1 and the HB .45 with supercharger in the other. Both have metal spurs and in the 2 years I've had them, have never had a gearbox fail. I find the XL's are more stable and rarely roll at speed, compared to the X 4.6 which spends more time falling over than on it's wheels.
  18. Muck Off, You get it from most motorcycle shops. About
  19. +1 on the camber angle, Your front wheels should be almost vertical. As for the cutting out, I'd say you should open your idle gap to 0.5-1mm then reset your throttle/brake servo.
  20. I like it mate, it's got a lot of ATD, Makes me want to get one for the fun factor.
  21. A6240 = 5-40x1/2" Straight from the Losi manual
  22. I have a weekly order of parts and spares from the US, Posted on Wednesday and arriving on Saturday morning. It depends on what the sender writes on the front of said package as to how long it stays in customs.
  23. Losi 8ight T 2.0 Punisher Jconcepts Illuzion Punisher Shell painted by Mike Parker @ Number 5 Designs
  24. ^ Tosser, He's already stated he's confused. So help him out with your limited knowledge. Do YOU run them in your 8E? ............Tumbleweed..............
