Ha!
i actually had a similar situation to this not so long ago, after the "warden" told me not to use my nitro because there was a by-law in effect, i asked him to provide details, knowing (and i checked!) that there were no bylaws, he became very abusive and threatening and told me if i continued using it he would take it off me, (quite ballsy as he was about 5 foot tall, mid 50's and litterally half the size of myself ( 6' 18 stone 27 year old) )
so naturally i continued to use the it, and he actually tried to knock the controller out of my hand, to which i kindy (which also wound him up) asked him to not try again, so he went after the car. Now, have you ever seen a small man chase after a nitro car? if id had my phone on me i would have recorded it but he gave up on that after about 15 seconds. he walked off after that but about 15 mins later the police showed up, and i explained the situation (baring in mind at no point was i abusive) i explained that i have checked for such bylaws and none exsisted. and they were actually really good about it and ended up talking to him about it for ages, but they asked me to stop for the time being while they checked it out. so i did, and the warden was really pleased that i had been stopped.
i got a phone call from the officer that dealt with it about 3 hours later apologising for the hassle and telling me in fact there was no bylaw. so guess what i did?, made a special trip right back up to the park and continued bashing.
the police are not going to arrest anyone for using a remote controlled vehicle, unless you are using it in a dangerous manner. even if there is a bylaw, in most cases you will be politly asked to "move along"
