Phoned MS today, spoke to a nice man...ss ordered and due for delivery tomorrow. Tempted to keep it for myself now

Ooooook...change of plan. When my mate was down the other day looking at/deciding between the hyper 7 or trophy he noticed the hyper ss. As there my be an issue with stock/delivery for xmas he's now said to order an ss for him(listed as in stock on MS). Im assuming these will be a step up from the 7 and the .21 is the one to get?

Been left with ordering a hyper 7 for a mate for his boys xmas(leaves it to this time then ive to p*ss about finding one in time, anywhoooo...). Modelsport has them listed as out of stock and expected the 17th. Wheelspin has them down as shadow stock(at their secondary warehouse and will take longer to dispatch). What one do it gamble on, did I read somewhere that wheelspin can be a bit out on their stock levels(or at least on their website)? Cheers.

He didn't reply on here or to Paypal regarding the dispute, it was judged in my favour. He's not been on since the 11th, the day after I asked him what was happening re the refund he said was on its way. I'd avoid dealing with him if he returns, looks like a scammer/thief.

Yeah used paypal goods/services. Dispute escalated to claim, he has till 17/07 to respond to them which he hasn't done yet.

3+ weeks later and no car or refund that was offered on 07/07/14.

I'd agree with the previous posts...end up paying over the odds. But if your determined have a look on ebay. There was a couple of them(whole magazine collection with car unbuilt) on there a few weeks back.

Impressive build mate...takes alot of skill and patience. Did you think about powder coating for the chassis?

Got my old Tamiya TA01 in the loft(escort cosworth). Is it worth doing anything with...upgrade motor etc? Reason i stopped using it was the 14 hour charge for 10-15 mins runtime, have modern batteries/motors improved this any? Or will it ever be worth something if i keep it original?

I went for black at rear faded into silver at the front for my first attempt. Try piercing the air bubble with a pin...gently. Should let you remove the air.

Anyone bought anything from their website before? Placed an order for clutch shoes on monday 03/05. Left it a couple of days as it was a bank holiday. Checked the progress of my order on wed and it was listed as 'awaiting dispatch'. Checked again at half 4 of thursday and it was still listed as the same. Phoned them and asked to cancel my order and was told it was posted wed but system hadnt been updated. Its now friday and no sign of said clutch shoes. Realise im a newbie so apologies if im stepping on toe's but not really happy tbh as i needed them for this weekend...just wondered if this is a one off or if anyone else has had problems with them? (admin: not sure if this is the right section)

Ordered one last week(shell from hpi site)...ordered another 2 yesterday...hope i was in time to get them . On another note, anyone ever had a go at making a police car replica?
