  3. My very first rc was a tamiya bigwig.wad a great car but rubbish when you look at how far rc has come.
  4. Tamia are a well known brand to Joe blogs.if you mentioned losi or ho bao to them they wouldn't know what your talking about.modelzone as far as I'm aware don't stock proper nitro or petrol models so unless your into the hobby daddy is going to pop down modelzone and buy his son a tamiya
  5. A receipt for a losi 5t just got to wait for mine now.the kids have opened theres and thoroughly enjoyed it so far and that's the important thing for me. Merry Christmas chaps.
  6. The police report has said speeding was the deciding factor in the crash so his mate was driving like a tool and no doubt mr walker was in the passenger seat telling him to slow down.just take it lucky they didn't hit a people carrier with a family on board.
  7. Here's some more after pictures. http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&f=118&t=1357674&mid=403701&i=20&nmt=%232fife%232furious&mid=403701
  8. Totally agree with you mate I can't understand any of it.all he ever did was star in crap car movies.
  9. This complete tool of a chav decided to bump his rev limiter for 12 mins thinking it was cool.the result left him feeling a bit silly. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=777328048951225

  12. Thanks for the help chaps.i currently run a cy 26 in the punisher and I assume its a cy rebranded as a losi engine in the 5.dithering if I buy a roller or rtr and stick my punisher engine in it.
  13. Right I'm currently running an ftx punisher and its run for nearly 2 years without any major problems.due to the good times at work this year I will have funds to purchase a losi 5ive.are they really that good and reliable don't want to sell the punisher only to find out the losi needs money spent on it out of the box.i don't know anyone personally who owns one so have never seen them run.sure I've watched the videos but that's always the good bits.i don't want to spend
  14. Good buggys but as said above you need a huge wallet when things go wrong.
  15. It's the same as someone asking if its ok for their son to watch ****.these games have an age rating for a reason.i wouldn't let my son play either games.there was a case last year in America where a boy shot his brother because he played cod and wanted to act it out.just be careful mate.
  16. EDL started as a well intentioned group but was sadly joined by a bunch of racist baffoons who can't string together a sentence that's why the leader tommy quit. As for a collapse in trade with Europe it wouldn't happen, the free trade agreement would see to that.could you seriously see Europe shutting the door and not trading with us,you only have to look at the GDP to get an idea of how much we actually import.
  17. Lol ken block still making this tripe.he spends more time double taking and crashing than he does driving. Proper driving
  18. Use to love a bit of cod but after modern warfare 2 it became just the same old tripe of gun and run.a mate introduced me to battlefield 3 and I was hooked it was hard to adjust to the game play to begin with as its more skill and.a much more team orientated game and with a few mates in your squad you can clean up.battlefield 4 is great but they really should release the game when all the glitches have been ironed out.all in all its going to be one of the best fps games out there.
  19. Just be who you are mate and if it concerns other people then they are not worth knowing.your gp will advise you of the best route due to your type 1.anything else could further jepodise your health issues.
  20. SKILL SAW: A portable cutting tool used to make boards too short. BELT SANDER: An electric sanding tool commonly used to convert minor touch-up jobs into major refinishing jobs. WIRE WHEEL: Cleans paint off bolts and then throws them somewhere under the workbench with the speed of light. Also removes fingerprints and hard-earned calluses from fingers in about the time it takes you to say, 'Oh censored'. DRILL PRESS: A tall upright machine useful for suddenly snatching flat metal bar stock out of your hands so that it smacks you in the chest and flings your beer across the room, denting the freshly-painted project which you had carefully set in the corner where nothing could get to it. ADJUSTABLE SPANNER: Used to round off bolt heads. Sometimes used for the creation of blood-blisters. HACKSAW: One of a family of cutting tools built on the Ouija board principle... It transforms human energy into a crooked, unpredictable motion, and the more you attempt to influence its course, the more dismal your future becomes. VICE-GRIPS: Generally used after pliers to completely round off bolt heads. If nothing else is available, they can also be used to transfer intense welding heat to the palm of your hand. OXYACETYLENE TORCH: Used almost entirely for igniting various flammable objects in your shed and creating a fire. Also handy for igniting the grease inside the wheel hub out of which you want to remove a bearing race. TABLE SAW: A large stationary power tool commonly used to launch wood projectiles to test wall integrity. Very effective for digit removal !! HYDRAULIC FLOOR JACK: Used for lowering an automobile to the ground after you have installed your new brake, trapping the jack handle firmly under the bumper. BAND SAW: A large stationary power saw primarily used by most shops to cut large pieces into smaller pieces that more easily fit into the waste bin after you cut on the inside of the line instead of the outside edge. TWO-TON ENGINE HOIST: A tool for testing the maximum tensile strength of all the crap you forgot to disconnect. PHILLIPS SCREWDRIVER: Normally used to stab the vacuum seals under lids or for opening old-style paper-and-tin oil cans and splashing oil on your shirt; but can also be used, as the name implies, to strip out Phillips screw heads. COMMON SCREWDRIVER: A tool for opening paint cans. Sometimes used to convert common slotted screws into non-removable screws and butchering your palms. PRY BAR: A tool used to crumple the metal surrounding that clip or bracket you needed to remove in order to replace a 50p part. PVC PIPE CUTTER: A tool used to make plastic pipe too short. HAMMER: Originally employed as a weapon of war, the hammer nowadays is used as a kind of divining rod to locate the most expensive parts adjacent the object we are trying to hit. BIGGER HAMMER: Same as a normal hammer but larger in size and weight. Used to make things that don't fit, fit. UTILITY KNIFE: Used to open and slice through the contents of cardboard cartons delivered to your front door. Works particularly well on contents such as seats, vinyl records, liquids in plastic bottles, collector magazines, refund cheques, and rubber or plastic parts. Especially useful for slicing work clothes, but only while in use. SON OF A BITCH TOOL: Any handy tool that you grab and throw across the garage while yelling 'Son of a bitch' at the top of your lungs. It is also, most often, the next tool that you will need.
  21. but the guy only has a talent for selling shoes ie dc trainers.the guy can't drive to save his life let alone film a stunt without the need for editing.you look at the likes of McRae he could probably do it with his eyes shut.
  22. I'm told by a mate in my office that there is a making of one of Mr Blocks videos showing just how many takes he needs to makes his vids and how many f*** ups there are. Anyone who thinks his videos are one smooth take are very very wrong. If you want such antics done in one take you'd need to ask Sebastian Loeb to do the driving....but then again he is too busy winning races, even in retirement!
