have you tried a heavy duty 1 ?
-
its been raining on and off here all day so far , wish i had bit bullet and gone lol
glad you had fun mate , bloody weather
-
its stopped raining here if it stays off we may well venture up to perth in a wee while
-
sorry mate its chucking it down here at moment hows weather in Perth ?
-
one way bearing ?
if the pull starter isnt turning engine over then i would suspect the owb
-
have you tried taking the plug out and putting some ful directly into engine then using the pullstart with the plug out ?
pull it over a few times like that to loosen it off a tad fore putting plug back in
-
have you changed the glow plug ?
a brand new 1 not 1 out the tool box
-
cool mate hope to see you about 11 then
-
11 is cool for us
can you do your usual weather report mate
-
oops never noticed that , glad someones paying attention
-
well the hpi is a good car but a tad overpriced compared to others , have fun with it tho
-
yep thats usually it
the low speed needle should have a factory setting as well tho and you need to set that as well
-
that would be cool mate
really want to try out the ishima up there
-
thats hard to answer as every engines diferant even 2 engines same make and model will tune slightly diferant
-
you adjust the high speed needle 1st and should notice an improvement in performance keep adjusting it in 1/8 turns till either theres little smoke coming from exhaust or theres a reduction in performance then knock it back an 1/8 turn
then you do the low speed needle same way but your looking for a smooth throttle responce as well , just make sure theres smoke coming from exhaust at all times whilst adjusting both needles

that 1 that dave is selling in the link above is a damm good price
Kilted if you went for that we would be interested in your dbx as a roller for spares
-
well folks we gonna pick a date and venue as either mentioned is cool with me
-
what about this 1
http://www.ishimarac...rave_m1_0s.html
very similar to the hong nor but i got this 1 for 250 quid and i like it
its bigger than the dbx just ,my son has the dbx and i would rather the ishima over that (similar price)
those 1's ste77_2008 posted
now you have 5 or so to choose from lol
-
if you go for a .21 engine i would up the difs to heavier duty as kev stripped the the crown and sun gear in the rear dif ( not sure if thats right terms its the small gear on drive shaft that turns the bigger gear thats attached to diff we renewed both those gears as bigger 1 looked ok but better safe than sorry )
-
the rush i think is 2 wheel drive so i wouldnt expect it to steer in any direction you want anyway , joking aside tho could it be the engine torque throwing it off ?
have you tried stifenning or slackening the front suspension (ie taking or adding the plastic spacers in or out ) ?
another thing when the steering is in nuetral ie straight ahead is the servo arm striaght (uswually straight up or striaght down) ?
if it isnt it will turn the wheels more in 1 direction than the other
-
i would go for the hpi bullet its hpi's replacement for the mt2 and my 1 is still going strong (mt2 that is) and the bullet seems to have stronger bits
-
seem to be ok so far but ive only had it less than 2 weeks so only thing ive bought is wheels and tyres and fastrax do them but according to the shop no probs getting spares for it
hope that helps ohh it comes with heavy duty servos as standard as well
-
what about 1 of these ?
-
Hey kilted sorry to hear about your dbx probs its a bummer when they dont work
i got myself 1 of these bad boys for 250 at marrionville 2 weeks ago
http://www.ishimarac...rave_m1_0s.html
.28 (4.03cc)engine and just a tad bigger than the dbx but a lot tougher , ohh and its faster lol
