Sell the .21 full, buy a full savage x and then spend the extra on that
  2. Since their both POA, here is my application. How much for the castle system. And to save someone else the hassle, How much for the car?
  3. Send me a pm with what you need, i can sort you out. Thanks Chris
  4. Deafty, first post on this page, i answered your question
  5. Buggy is 46t. It will still work, but the engine will be meshed closer Thanks Chris
  6. CST and CPS are the same. I run S Works oils myself, simply because i sell them haha. But have never had a problem with them. Depends what your doing. I would go for 10, 7, 7 If you find the front wheels baloon too much, then a bit thicker on the centre oil Thanks Chris
  7. Never experienced this. As long as you keep your tune right, you wont have a problem. Overheating issues will be down to an incorrect tune, not the type of pipe you use. Being one of the most popular pipes for bashers and racers alike speaks for itself really. Thanks Chris
  8. JP4 is a pipe that suits many engines, especially rtr engines which dont have a pipe designed specifically for that engine. The JP4 will suit the 21 and the 28. It will also work well with a 32. Ive been running one for this season with a bullitt b218 and i have been very happy with it. There is a bullitt specific pipe, and the main difference is the power delivery. The JP4 has insane bottom end, but the bullitt is a lot smoother. Youd definately notice a big difference with a JP4 Hope this helps
  9. Jammin JP4. http://www.northernirelandrc.co.uk/shop/article_142/Jammin-JP-4-Hard-coated.html?sessid=Hy5RvRZseZmoWCJkeMKk1U4mO7fKLhlsh7xpPx7laMDJ8IaBdNhFOk2Snc3E0NNL&shop_param=cid%3D47%26aid%3D142%26 Ill do it for
  10. If your looking to buy a losi, buy an agama. They are like the losi but without the wear
  11. Ha. What did you get pulled over for?
  12. Nearly certain that is the same engine we used in our endurance This one http://www.go-engine.com/pdt_view.asp?sn=37&area=1&cat=8 I doubt there will be much difference between your standard trophy engine TBH. Get yourself an alpha or one of the GO GXR range of engines. They are all very good engines with great performance. Let me know if you want one, i could probably sort you out. Thanks Chris
  13. Very good engines and very reliable. My club recently used the standard GO 3 port in an endurance race, and out of the 30 odd engines, only one failed. What engine do you have, i may be able to get the parts for it. Thanks Chris
  14. I do agree there. I myself would do so as well, but if it was my first nitro, i wouldnt bother. As for the price of the clutch, if any of you guys want one, chuck me a PM and ill sell them outside ebay with free postage for you guys. Thanks Chris
  15. Oh, and while im here, Deafty, you are nuts. Whoever it was who has just bought a second hand trophy and asked what you should do before running, please, please dont start stripping your engine down. If you really want to, remove it and see if it holds itself up on the flywheel, that will tell you if it has compression. As for the whole idea of stripping the car and checking diffs and shocks etc, this is just as mad. It your first nitro, dont bother. Give it a check, make sure all screws are tight etc, make sure all the wheels turn freely, make sure she rolls nice and free, make sure the brakes are working. Simple things. Dont start stripping down the car to check the diffs and shocks etc. Fair enough, you want to make sure all is as it should be, but it was sold to you as a working model, so if it doesnt work as it should, get in touch with the seller. Thanks Chris
  16. Nothing to do with your tune (well i doubt it but cant say for sure without the car in front of me) The stock clutch is pure shi te. If you want a decent clutch setup that will last, fit one of these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=121018858051 I run one in both my nitros and will never go back. Its an absolute dream to work on and maintain and lasts ages. As for the whole diff thing you guys have going on here, a thin oil will not cause your diff to break. Too much or too little oil will. A thin oil, if there is the correct amount in it, will still lubricate the gears enough. Ive run olive oil in a diff with no problems (dont ask why lol) All you should notice with a thin oil is adverse handling. If your stripping gears, your running to much or too little oil, the gears where worn when put back in, or the gears and diff were not shimmed correctly. Dont just assume that its the oil. I run 5 - 5 - 5 in my buggy, but used to run 5 - 7 - 2 and had no problems. Truggy is running 5 - 7 - 3 and has no problems either, and im not running the hardened gears. But i would definately recomend the JVD clutch over any other clutch out there. Thanks Chris
  17. For the standard engine, it would definately have to be the JP4 http://www.northernirelandrc.co.uk/shop/article_142/Jammin-JP-4-Hard-coated.html?sessid=Jf9vPWAIiKEvTI0CeuzmaHWtMrtN862YRpKRP9uiHJfc7Ju32uKLf4gOavpyqWTO&shop_param=cid%3D47%26aid%3D142%26 Its a fantastic pipe with a good balance of low end power and flat out speed. I currently run one on my agama buggy with a bullitt b218 and its great. Thanks Chris
  18. Well Lee emailed me about this, but i though id post my response here as well Hi Lee Honestly, my advice would be to not bother. Unless your really going to go for it and put all your time into it, its not worth the hassle. Have a look around, and see what tracks are near you, then you can get an idea of what the most popular cars are and which cars you will need to stock spares for. Keep your spares stocks to a minimum as cars change all the time and spares can become redundant quickly. If you are opening an actual shop, as in on the high street, then your going to want to look into RTRs a good bit, something that people can start with. But also stock race kits IF there are tracks near by you. If not then dont bother as they wont sell. Beginners wont be able to justify spending between
  19. Nobody is believing any BS, they are talking about their experiences with what is an absolutely amazing company
  20. Maybe not by ripmax, but they are by HPI. I can go on and order as much or as little as possible. No point in preventing someone ordering the parts a customer needs. Its just stupid that you would even believe that.
  21. I own a shop and have a trade account with HPI. They do not have a minimum order. They make it very easy for small shops to make a profit and do not give better prices or offers to the bigger shops simply because they can afford to buy more. Every shop gets the same offers. Thanks Chris
