  1. Actually I think I wear it quite well
  2. It's the fact you don't need a brake light that surprised me most. I thought indicators (BMW's excluded) and brake were required for road use. Interesting.
  3. I honestly didn't realise you could get a 'daytime' MOT! Everyday is indeed a school day.
  4. Even back then he drove it better than you do now.............
  5. Yep, iirc, I used to have spare pack of energizers as part of my flight kit whenever I went flying. Tbh, I kinda prefer a power source I can replace from any supermarket or corner shop.
  6. It's called wisdom. 15yrs ago, you had...............less wisdom Same reason I have a pack of tissues on the rear shelf of my 1:1
  7. Yeah cos all the cool kids are rocking heated grips and gloves...................
  8. Cos you weren't an old man 15yrs ago so didn't need em!
  9. "Oooh, plenty to read...." 5mins later... "Seriously, was that it? I want those 5mins back "
  10. I only get 15 p/day. Anyway enough spamming. Sorry again Gavster, sir.
  11. And this thread has taught me how many likes I can give in a day. Not been there before. So for now................ everyone take one of these
  12. Ahh no worries, only need one to race me mate's boat. No chance I'd get my missus using anything rc!! Was hoping you might need a quad and would swap for one. No worries though fella. Cheers anyway.
  13. Sorry, I misunderstand, I thought you meant that bit turns, not this bit.
  14. http://flashoffroad.com/features/Torsen/Work/torsen_works.htm If anyone is interested.
  15. That's exactly what I told myself so I went away happy.
  16. Are you only looking to swap as a pair? If not, what sort of things were you looking to swap for?
  17. They pop up every so often but last few times there was just that orange thing. I didn't know how that fitted as a hyper centre, felt stoopid and stopped looking.......
  18. Oh, just a normal one then. Cheers mate, I can go to bed feeling clevererer
  19. Yeah so I see, more places than I thought. Still the 74 quid price putting me off!! That's a new plane!!
  20. Yeah that's what I was thinking. In the second link it says you can use centre only or centre/front combo. Not what I thought then. There was a conv on here a while back and someone said they're not all they're cracked up to be on dirt. It's why I've only ever wanted one for on road. As to how they work...........?????
  21. Not sure on that one. The front/rear look like normal, obviously... http://jethobby.com/_shop/product/product_detail.php?id=3441 RCMart do a normal centre.... http://www.rcmart.com/ofna-87326-torsen-differential-center-diff-hyper-p-9113.html Tbh, I've never worked out how that orange thing works as a centre diff. The set I saw, all x3 looked like standard diffs. Unless that goes inside a normal looking housing?? On the plus side, googling torsen diff's means I've just found a reasonably priced set of carbon shock towers. The on road hyper is about to get lighter!!
  22. Yep that's the centre I believe but from what I've read (and that or my understanding might be wrong), because that puts power to the one with most traction, while the normal diffs output to least traction, if you only have centre or front/rear, you don't get any benefit. You need all three for the real deal. I may be wrong. I could compromise with a solid centre and torsen front but for the money, I'd probably prefer another roller to do up.
  23. You should get those Dx7's Alive and Kicking......... they're a Glittering Prize when working right. Easy to setup the basics, it's once you go for the complicated mixes that things get sticky. I haven't Promised You a Miracle.....RC Groups will help a lot on that front, if a little sarcasm laden. Just turn them on See The Lights and Let There Be Love, you'll end up Hypnotised......... Sorry, couldn't resist. AA's last pretty well in the i6, I had one before the Frsky (which is woefully under-utilised). Just watch the antenna, mine took a few hits and that's what killed it.
