  1. Yeah i think your right James I am so used to 4wd that i forgot what the effect of braking would do in a rwd car!! Just been having a play and you just have to be gentle with it. Its a quick way to turn around though Cheers Mike
  2. Hi My new VXL Rusty is behaving strange under braking, When i apply the brakes in a straight line it turns hard to the right and spins the truck around. Has anyone had this problem, or know if its something simple i have missed? Mike

  6. I am absolutely hopeless at soldering, i have tried so many times to get it right and it just fails me! not destined to get it right!! So could do with some already installed with trx or deans connectors really. Unless there is a shop somewhere that will do them for me, i know modelsport does, but i assume you have to buy the batteries off them first... The hobby king ones look good value do you know if they supply them with deans/trx or can i get a banana plug to deans/trx connector? mike
  7. Hi All I am about to order 2 new cars, one for me and one for my son, Just after some advice on lipos really. My lad wants the vxl pede and i want either vxl Rustler, xxt sparrow hawk or firestorm flux, not sure which one i will get... prob will never make my mind up lol What i want is 4 sets of lipos, 2s, which can be interchanged between the 2 cars, and are a match for both cars so if one of us isnt running, then we have some extra batteries to play with? Which cars would be suitable for that end, (obviously the rustler is, but what about the others) Also any advice on which lipos to get would be appreciated. cheers Mike

  15. Just as an update Traxxas sent the car back yesterday, and true to thier word they have replaced the front diff ring gear, They also replaced my 2 broken A Arms FOC which was a bonus! My ESC wasnt at fault, it turned out the reciever was damaged due to water ingress, so they changed that for me as well. All in all i am very pleased with the service offered by Traxxas, the turnaround was brilliant (6 Days) including a weekend, i cant praise them enough. Just need to find a way of better waterproofing the reciever box now? anyone any ideas? At last i can finally go out and drive this thing!! Mike
