  1. thats what im thinking, just seems too much a coincidence that Traxxas stock is so poor, And the new ones are been shipped with 2.4ghz.... AS said, if thats the case (Which im pretty much certain it is) thats great for most people, But I have no intention of using the 2.4ghz Link system, So its just an additional
  2. http://www.traxxas.com/products/electric/rustler3707/trx_rustler3707.htm Now shipping with the Link, maybe ALL traxxas models will come with this system, hence the price increase! Expect Bind and Drive Traxxas models soon then!
  3. the summit already had 2.4ghz 4 Channel system from Day one didnt it though? I was just confused as I know for a fact the E Revo Brushless Came with a normal 2.4ghz and not the Link! The VXL's came with 27mhz and now they have gone up in price and now come with 2.4ghz Thing is, The Slash 4x4 im after has gone up, and Im ebaying the radio anyway! I've got an SR300 and a spare memory on my DX3S!
  4. want to join this club, Technically speaking I Still have one, Some where!
  5. im sick of wheelies TBH , I had it out earlier, and it was actually annoying not been able to get the power down!
  6. Lipos are no different to how you would charge your normal nimh batteries mate, nothing to worry about. All the amps etc apply to your nimh batteries too, its not really any different All balancing is is plugging in a seperate lead every few charges to balance the sells
  7. hold on! I may be putting 2 and 2 together here, and getting 5, But! Im an active member on the US Traxxas forum, And a few people have been getting their new E Revo brushless editions with the new Traxxas2.4 GHZ LINK System (As opposed to the regular 2.4 GHZ) I didnt know what this was, So Checked their site: http://www.traxxas.com/products/accessories/traxxaslink_24ghz/traxxaslink_overview.htm It says in that text "Traxxas introduces the next generation of 2.4GHz radio system performance and it's available now in the new Traxxas Slash 4X4." AS far as I am aware, The Slash 4x4 always came with the 2.4ghz, But not the Link 2,4ghz? A quick check on modelsport and Quite a few Traxxas models have gone up in price: Now look on www.traxxas.com Top right a big square with new info on the TQ 2.4ghz system. My hunch (which doesnt explain the Summit price hike): Models that came with the 27mhz now come with the TQ2.4ghz Models that came with thw TQ2.4GHZ now come with the TQ 2.4GHZ Link Could be wrong however!
  8. props for breaking an RPM Bumper.
  9. I emailed traxxas, A Rather detailed email The reply. Phone our UK HQ on whatever their number is. So IF you are going to contact Traxxas, Phone them Clive: Are MSUK honouring your price? I presume you order it before they went up in price?
  10. your ESC/Motor combo was designed for Lipo use, I run 2S 7.4v HPI Plazma lipos in my Firestorm flu. What is your budget however
  11. Centre Diff ordered and Im goign to gear up!
  12. I'll be honest, no experience with the truck at all, I've just heard on other forums that idler goes on stock trucks, let alone brushless.
  13. lol i was going to say? have these been merged? I run the Castle Creations Set up everyone is suggesting, I find it awesome, and in a buggy on 5 or 6S im sure you could hit your speed targets.... thats all theoritical though, doesnt take into account "the real world" But the 2200kv Set up is a good start
  14. Dont know how you do that posh multi quoting Mine has cost WAY more than buying an ERBE, (Well they have now gone up to
  15. I'd still rather have one, But it is a joke, They dont appear to have gone up in the US? Shame cause alot of Modelshops will rely on Traxxas'. Just what UK business' didnt want with the economy how it is!
  16. get at least the uprated idler gear (not sure if its out yet noticed it on Losi.com last night) They struggle stock. There are better suited Trucks for Brushless if you dont already have one
  17. well the basics are your going to need a 1:8th system and 2 Lipos (possibly 2S) and a conversion kit for the buggy. What buggy is it? is there one already avaliable?
  18. Lucky so and so how much was your powersupply for that?
  19. do you think the uk will get that?
  20. just realised, its dark, im going to check the lights out in the garden
  21. all depends on gearing, but the most powerful is the 9500 kv
  22. They all mean alot, The Firestorm got me back into it, The E-Revo is favourite, but i really am intersted in crawling! IF I had to sell on it would be the Xray, Lot of cash in that considering it gets used for less than an hour a month!
