ive had a redcat rampage and i never broke anything serious from start to finish , i did however break a couple of driveshaft pins (mine was dogbone not cvd) so jst replaced them with a harder steel pin , and i broke a diff into 3 peices but that was from a stone that got lodged at full bore and stopped the drive instantly lol but i used to jump, thrash, smash it off thing(by accident) and absolut allsorts and it never failed me , the build and material quality of them was amazing , 100x better than the blackout which is the same rc but made with cheaper not as good materials , hpi/km rear hex's fit all round so you can run hpi/silverback rims and decent tyres like mx nightmares and stuff , i wish i never ever sold mine i deeply regret it but needs must at the time , out of any of these rc's people have mentioned , i would comsider a 2nd hand marder (very good imo) ,new km baja but you will end up spending with all the crazy amount of hop ups (not a bad thing spending lol ) or the redcat rampage , mine was the redcat rampage tt v2 buggy which is the same as the mt but different wheels and shell lol haha , there is a redcat distributor in germany so parts shouldn't be too bad to get but the blackout parts fit anyway mate , the cen does lokk a little like the rampage but thats only down to the motor placment and gear plate thats about it really i could see , either way you will need to replace the servos for better ones and a better airfilter ( in recomend the hpi 2 stage filter , allthough the stock fg filter is good too) , blackbone did me some hd steel gears for my redcat that where awesome , ask buzz or bullet tooth troy(he makes them) on here for ratios and prices , i would personally get a killswitch as you can kill the engine via the third channel switch on the tx if it does run off or gets too much , saftey in mind and better to prevent and all that lol safe than sorry haha
