Hyper 7 TQ Sport 21 Engine The user manual says the factory settings are: HSN = 3 Turns out LSN = 3.5 Turns out

I been runing it mainly with the shell off and it sits around 300 on average when u stop the temp creeps up obviously as there is no air flow to cool it just ordered some os8 plugs and byron 25% fuel see how that make a difference will then adjust the HSN 1/8th

Thanks Guys as mentioned new to nitro the car is flying along but the temp is a little concerning if I can get it down to around 260c ish i will be alot happier.

The venom micro gauge i have is looped around the lowest plate on the heat sink as it advises in the instruction manual. would I be better to move it up a ring or two or change the plug to an os8 or an MC9 with 25% fuel. I have 2.5 liters of 16% fuel left so would like to use that before i pick up some 25% to in it really.

Yeah its the 21 engine box standard just tuned up the HSN to which i beleive is about correct.

Just took the plug out and is says number 6 on the side which is what i received from model sports when i bought the car. I think I will invest in some os8 plugs and change the fuel and see how that goes.

I have the standard Plug which came with it but purchased some model technics firepower F6 plugs

I am using the Modelsport UK Performance 16 Glow Fuel

fitted a venom micro temp gauge and my hyper 7 is giving me an engine temp of around 310-320 running but then when you cut the engine off cools down very quickly. what is the ideal engine temp for a hyper 7 tq sport. I am not sure I am new to Nitro so if anyone can advise me that would be great. The car has no add ons and running 16% fuel The car has run about 12 tanks and I have addjusted the HSN until I have good performance and good exchaust smoke of start with a continuous light trail there after. LSN has not been adjusted

Still fairly new to this guys but trying to get an idea of what works and what doesnt and also how. I want to change the engin eventualy I found a 28 on the net last night that revs to 42,000 rpm but unable to find it now and cant remember what its called. I just trying to establish when I get bored of the standard setup what I need to add to get better performance what effects changing varous parts have in gaining more mph. Thanks for your replies

Does anyone know how u could get a hyper 7 tq sport to 60mph plus using no more than a 28 engine.

Does anyone have any suggestions on which would be the best upgrade engine for my Hyper 21 TQ Sport. Im looking for something that will give me more top end range but also be quick off the mark. I will be maybe change the clutch bell to a vented 15/16 tooth and will be adding a Jammin JP-4 exhaust.

That looks pretty good did u get a big increase on speed. Ive been looking at the OFNA Hyper 21 8 port which seems pretty good. Im just open to suggestions really
