  11. Just been checking funshobby and thinking the SC401 motor 4400KV and the hobbywing SC8 esc for the same cost as the hobbywing combo on ebay, will be using with stock gearing and 2s 5000mah 20-40c lipos.....?

Afternoon all, I have recently bought Cyrons Exo and have waded through this thread reading up on motor/esc combinations and gather I'm looking at a 4pole 4000km motor and 120A esc, so probably going to go budget and go for hobbywing, I have the 9t combo in a 2wd SC truck and its been good as gold.   15. I had the same problem, I was told to use plumbers PTFE tape on the thread of the HSN and it worked a treat.
