  1. You may find the running in proccess a little frustrating as you are wanting to go out and get playing. This is a very important part of the cars set up and if you don't carry out the run in cycle you may shorten the life of your engine or even end it there and then.

AFternoon all, Just wondered if any of you guys had a couple of good quality servos kicking about so i can get my hyper 7 running for bashing I run ACE DS 1015's on my hyper 8.5, I would like something equivilant if anyone has anything
  3. You will find that the rear post is not drilled but is quite easy to do and sometimes you may need to adjust the exhaust position slightly to get the body to fit snug. (or trim the body around the exhaust) As far as running in, there are plenty of guides that will appear with a google search. I would say that changing your steering servo is a MUST as you will end your outings pretty quickly as the one you have as standard has plastic gearing that sheers.
  4. Kirklees and leeds city council always state if this includes R/C & minimoto. If they are anything like ours, it would be worth finding out 1st as its better than a fine.
  5. i have a roto start for a hyper 7
  6. Can't remember spec of pipe off top of my head. No i didn't use a spacer when i went onto 30% and have now reallised that i should have. do you think the damage is done or can i just go back to factory sttings and retry on 25%
  7. Good Day R/C Fans I have had an rb W7 for around 8 months now and in that time have run a gllon of 25% fuel through it and it was brilliant. I then moved onto model technics formula irvine 30% fuel with a rb ct5 plug, i have struggled to get this engine to perform like it did with the 25% It has all the top end power that is to be expected however there seems to be a delay in the initial acceleration from stand still. It used to go on the B in bang but now it is thinks about it first (which makes all the difference when wanting to clear a short double out of a bend). I have spoken to a couple of rc guys with more experience than me and they said that the engine it probably worn. I am just looking for someone to say that they have suffered this and that there is a cure. Your suggestions PLEAAAAASE
  8. Hyper 7 every time although a few basic upgrades are required as soon as you take it out of the box. metal gear servo for at least the steering and a decent hump pack as the standard battery tray will eat AA's
  9. If anyone has a pit buddy kicking about in the garage and want a few extra pounds in there pocket then PLEASE get in touch
  10. I was quite heavily involved with the old post office when the car cruises used to be there. Unfortunatley there has been a change of landlord and he isn't interested in anything motorsport related. I don't have a problem in approaching him however i think it will be a dead lead. We tried to have the carpark tarmaced last year but due to planning issues it was unacheivable. Let me know if anyone wants me to chase this. Also the car park is used by various circus' throughout the year and i know they pay around
  11. Note I have not put the new arches over the old, they were cut back. And the silly sunstrips have been removed.
  12. sorry no it hasn't got the dog box
  13. Mileage is around 90k (i haven't even taken the covers of this car for 6months) The interior is showing signs of its age however the only bad point is the drivers bolster has worn through. (not an exspensive repair) I have no pics of the inside of the boot, it is the box it came out of the showroom with so ipresume not, just a 5speed box. My original intention was to make this into a drift toy, but once i found out how rare they were i just couldn't bring myself to butcher it. Hence the restoration. P.S it hasn't been used for drifting nor has it had a boyracer style donut display in tescos car park.
  14. We came to nook the other week for a practice day and were a little disappointed with the poor condition of the track. We will be at deerdale this sunday (8th Nov) for round 2 of the winter series. We are also aware of another track that will be opening soon quite close to us, but i don't know how much i am allowed to say about it.
  15. I forgot to mention, the reason i am selling it is because it is one of my sunday toys and i no longer have the time to use it, and i have other stuff i would drive before i got this one out of the garage. (E91 bmw M3).
