There's a chronic shortage of decent tracks in England. The only thing you can do is look further afield for a club. It's that or settle for just bashing.
Where I live it means travelling, but we're looking for some land to start a new club. We've got everything we need (astro turf, track barrier material, rostrum material etc) except the land the build the track on. What makes it so hard is that if the track is to be a permanent and we find a farm willing to let us build there it requires change of use planning permission, which is extremely hard to get. We're hoping to get round this by building it in such a way that it won't be classed as being permanent.
