I've got a couple of XT8s at the moment, one a rolling chassis and the other primed to go waiting for mounts before putting a new engine in... I was going to buy an RC8Te to add to the collection as I really would love a brushless Truggy, but then found a few clips on youtube and the company in Germany that makes the conversion kits, so seriously considering saving some money and getting the XT8 roller converted. Cheers chaps! @ VM- those are the shocks I was looking at, yep. My FG will need 8, so I'll need 2 sets but at the price I'm not complaining as its a fraction of what I was expecting! Any ideas what the difference is between type 2a and 2c that are on there though, which are both apparently suitable for the Monster? They have the same spec, price etc. on the website, the only difference is the 2a is for the Monster Beetle Pro as well as the Monster etc, 2c for the Beetle Off-road etc...???? @ Mini the minx- The trucks already got a metal pinion gear, metal diff and plenty of other hopped up bits. I will, as money allows, work my way through and hopefully end up with as little plastic as possible on there and certainly install the bits you suggest asap. I've yet to find out exactly what else needs sorting right now to get it running smoothly, as the more I take apart the more I find is knackered (thanks to a certain Mr S_Savage selling me a ringer!) I'll take a look at Hobbythek as well (thanks HootMaRoot!), see what they have to offer, at the mo rc-car-online seems to be great with the sheer amount of options available and price, will see what the service is like shortly! I need some advice about bits that I'm looking to get for the slightly out of shape FG Monster that I've recently got stuck with... I've figured that I'm going to keep it, and rather than replacing the bits that are broken with standard plastic parts I'm looking to get some nice shiny alloy bits instead, then probably end up chucking lots of money at it for other bits as well! For a start I need to get a new front shock tower and uprights, as the existing ones are in a bad way.. I've seen lots of different brands on the net, is there any particular one which I should look to for the bits I need? Any advice would be much appreciated. Cheers, Lawrence:)

Hi! I am selling a HoBao Hyper ST Rolling chassis. From what I know of it and the condition its not had much use at all. It came to me caked in dry mud, when I cleaned it off it revealed a suprisingly tidy truck! The only things that are slightly damaged is one of the rear shock boots which has slipped down and there's some surface rust on the rear drive shafts. Otherwise wear is very low indeed, shocks and diffs etc work like new. It will come with 2 bodyshells (in pics) which are also in good condition. I had intended to use it for work with a youth group who're into mechanics, but the cost of getting everything else needed for it has made that a no go and I have far too many toys myself to make it my own!! Looking for around

Losi 8ight 2.0 for sale with Go GX-5R engine, Savox servos and spares package. Will split or sell as complete package, prices below. The car itself has had ~6 months use and is mechanically absolutely sound and in good condition. Shell included is also in good condition and has a nice paint job. GX-5R engine and matching EFRA 2072 pipe- almost new, properly run in and only used for 3 tanks afterwards. The cooling head does have a small amount of paint rubbed off the top at the very front, but metalwork hasn't been grazed and otherwise perfect. Savox SC1258TG and SC0252MG servos- both in perfect condition with very little use. 4mm thick Carbon Fibre shock towers & 5mm upper turnbuckles are fitted, making it pretty much bombproof! Pro-line Step-up tyres- almost as new, not sure what the wheels are! Spares package includes the following, many of which are new and in original sealed packaging:- -Drive shafts -Diff gear and various components -Rod ends -Shock end cups, bushings, pistons and bladders -Front bumper -Tank and various air filter guards -E-clips -Grease boot -Chassis spacers and caps -Diff seal set -Sway bars -Steering ball set -Front diff case -Front alloy shock tower (from mk1) -New Go glow-plug -New con-rod -Various Carb restrictors Orion humpback pack also inc. Rolling chassis (inc shell but nothing else),-

They are damn good cars, and thats a damn good price! Wish I'd stuck around for a bit longer before I bought mine... Somebody buy it, at least make an offer, you won't regret it!! Can't wait to go for a proper bash, any ideas when the next TM one is? Don't know if I'll be joining you crazy Rustler guys over the near verticle jumps though! Nutters... Gonna get the truck sorted with those hop-ups asap, as I was completely gutted when my little mishap destroyed the fun.. Hopefully that should limit damage a bit.
