  1. I spent ages fiddling about with the linkage on my old nitro savage, getting the biting point on the brakes in sync with the end of the servo travel. Much easier to do if you have adjustable end points on you transmitter, but do-able if you haven't.
  2. Is that a bit of the brace coming loose because the screws have come undone, or actually snapped..?
  3. These Ofna dish wheels have got an inch of offset- http://www.jespares.com/nitro-models?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=2994&category_id=346 The ones with about the most offset, that are easily available, are the Axial Oversized 40 series ones.. Obviously they're 40 series though. RPM do sell 1/8 3.2" wheels http://www.rpmrcproducts.com/products/wheels/Monster/index.htm , which you can get in the "Stablemaxx" variety, which has 1.2" of offset, but they'll only fit on 5mm axles. You can get them in the UK direct from CML distribution http://www.cmldistribution.co.uk/cml_category.php?catId=72&catPage=3&range=RACING , but if they're not in stock with a retail outlet in the UK that they sell through, then you have to wait AGES for them to come from the U.S (I got an RPM skid plate about 3 months after I'd ordered it...). Best bet is to phone them up and check on stocks before ordering.
  4. I had a feeling it might've been someone on here, a couple of people went back to buy it not too long after I set that PM around and it'd been sold, glad it was you who got it!
  5. Just incase anyone else, like me, is very simple, has a Futaba 4PK that is well beyond their needs and can't figure out how to reset the thing to factory settings.. Go to *M-RES on menu 1, press and hold the +/- buttons down at the same time, et voila, it's done.
  6. Very nice!! Is it the new one from RCPitstop..?
  7. No worries bud. I was just looking about in my bits and that's one thing I've got loads of too.. They often come in handy to use as punches or generally hitting small things hard with, and I never have the heart to throw them out!
  8. Have you got any knackered hex drivers or small screw drivers about that you don't need..?
  9. Thanks for that buddy If you haven't used the ABS, is there any chance you could run through what the various different values are on there please? I've looked for a reset option, and sure I've seen it before, but couldn't find it again... Serves me right for buying something so complicated that I blatantly don't need..
  10. Hi folks, I'm hoping that someone out there will have a Futaba 4PK t/x and be able to tell me what the default setting are on the A.B.S section of the menu, so it's all switched off and back to "normal".. I'm pretty sure that I've managed to fiddle about with something on there which is stopping me from being able to calibrate my MMM properly, and it's bugging the hell out of me! If I had the instructions it might help, but I left them at my folks house which is miles away.. Any help would be MASSIVELY appreciated Thanks in advance, Lawrence.
  11. RPM make some 2.8 wheels with big offset.. I'm a bit confused by the mention 30 series I think... Am I right in thinking it's 12mm hex ones you're after for a traxxas, being 30 series you want, or is it normal 3.2 inchers you're after..?
  12. When everything is said and done, we're all entitled to our own opinions. The shock/ipod/iphone stand from JConcepts is obviously one of those things that's like Marmite and divides opinions and feelings quite strongly. I think that's all I have left to say on the matter!
  13. Any chance of a pic of the bottom of the chassis please Does the centre diff say "spider" on it then..? Sorry if that's a silly question..!!
  14. Keep on plugging them boys, that's it, someone'll buy the other set soon!!
  15. Hi bud, I can hold them until them, but really need some kind of guarantee/deposit if I'm to turn other potential buyers down. I'll PM you to discuss. Wheels still for sale unless I post to the contrary
  16. It does look very much like expanded polystyrene, yes, that's been covered in a thin layer of rubber or some such like..
  17. Phwoar!! Looking good bud, that CF skid is a real nice touch, great wheels too!
  18. Ah-ha, it's actually for those moments in the park when you don't want to spill your tinny or lose your smoke.... The design is begining to make sense at last!
  19. BUMP!!! Anyone?? Someone must fancy a gorgeous set of wheels out there.. Only 10 sets ever built of these, so they'll stick out from the crowd. Do look fantastic when they mounted too, I'll try and get a pic up for you.
  20. Could be, any liquid up your Nostril, especially a carbonated one, can be quite irritating to say the least, not sure about disasterous though. Anyway... My point, which I still think is valid, is that this thing, whatever it is, just seems to be another bit of tat that you could very easily live without, and have lived without for the whole of time, until someone sticks one infront of you and tries to charge you money for it... You could easily make a can holder, something to keep your shocks upright or even hold your ipod/phone/pad if you couldn't possibly cope with propping it up against something or just putting it on the table, for a matter of pence, or just out of junk that you have laying about. Why spend a bit of time making something you need when you could buy something off the shelf though....
  21. Seriuosly? You watch TV when you fix your rc, at race meets on the pit table..?
