Hello my name is Neil and I have been RC-ing since the early 80's. Having gone through numerous makes & models, I found something that got me very excited early in 2006. The HPI baja 5B became my most favorite RC vehicle that I had ever owned, so much so that all my other RC's went on ebay.

In 2007 I considered whether I could use any of my 15+ years in the plastics industry as a materials buyer to good use and perhaps develop parts for the HPI Baja 5B. In September 2008, and after 12 months of trialling some polymer blends, I produced my first prototype parts specifically for this model.

At the Gas Bash, 4 people plus myself were testing my blended nylon inner & outer beadlock rings. I also shipped out another 36 sets to users throughout the world for testing. Results were encouraging with only 1 inner beadlock broken out of the 160 units tested. A minor modification ensued and the parts were officially released in conjunction with my website on the 1st January 2009.

Wheels have also been developed for the baja and prototypes produced which are still being tested. I have drawings for the A-arms done, but decided not to enter the market as RPM produce an excellent OEM replacement already. A chassis has also been drawn up and this will be manufactured in the very near future.
