  1. Amazon would be an ideal company to compete at online auctions as they have a huge customer base although you can already sell used stuff in the Amazon market place.
  2. Ebays profits are big and their customers unhappy so there is money to be made by competing. I don't understand why Ebid has stuck with such a lame business model.
  3. I was looking at the Ebid site and was wondering if it was worth using it for selling. You do have to pay
  4. Looks amazing. Axial have really pushed the scale looks because it sells. Not going to get to exited until it gets reviewed though.
  5. Who is Walker Evans and why would you want racing wheels on a Rock crawler? Look like ordinary cheap plastic wheels to me.
  6. If you gear it up correctly I think 3S nwill be more than enough. Given the lack of parts availability I would avoid 4S unless you want spend more time on the repair bench than running it.
  7. Ebay could not care less about a minor infringment of the rules because it keeps sellers selling and they get paypal fees on the postage any how.
  8. Post has been completely revised with all the Wheelyking stuff added.
  9. Contact Paypal and find out if its genuine to be on the safe side. Page redirect hacks might not be picked up by antvirus software.
  10. You can't call a 5 year old a yob. Typical press language. What if the real story was a 5 year old gets a shot of his brothers boat and hits the swan, causing injury.Kids panic and run off. I have seen some extreme distortion of the facts in my local press so I would not believe a word of it. Even if it is true, young boys have always had a cruel streak in them, especially in groups. It's in their nature and always has been. Doesn't mean society is collapsing despite what the media say.
  11. Pouring rain all day so I overhauled the front shocks. Shock maintenance kit in the picture no longer included obviously. OK got bored and now both items on Ebay.
  12. £50 posted for the Bandit. Also pictures added.
  13. You would need the single motor adapter plate which is a stock traxxas part. Other than that it's the same truck.
  14. Here you go. http://www.modelsport.co.uk/traxxas-e-revo/rc-car-categories/60/9900/990010&ChassisID=512
  15. You can buy a Leopard motor and HobbyKing 150amp ESC for around £100 and a new brushed Revo for £367 which includes the Traxxas 2.4Ghz system. Overall, considering resale values, that would be a better option.
  16. I'll bear it in mind but I need a bit more than that TBH.
  17. HPI WheelyKing rock crawler conversion kit. £30 posted. Wheelyking reduction gearbox and fitting instructions. Allows any 540 motor to be used for crawling. £12.50 posted Wheelyking alloy CNC servo bracket for bolting the servo onto the front axle Also included are made upper links and bracket required for use with axle mounted servo. I knocked the links up in my garage so they could be improved upon but they work. £7 posted. Traxxas Bandit is now on Ebay as an auction http://www.ebay.co.u...984.m1558.l2649
  18. The nearest I could find on Modelsports site was this 17T http://www.modelsport.co.uk/-rw-32-dp-pinion-17-teeth-for-5mm-shaft/rc-car-products/32011 Also you could go for this 20T http://www.modelsport.co.uk/traxxas-20t-32dp-pinion-5mm/rc-car-products/35799 It would give a higher top end if you want to push your motor a bit harder for bashing.
  19. Thats a nice looking piece of kit. you'r making me jealous now. lol I used to think the Summit gears were MOD1 until I bought a SCRT10 and it has MOD1 gears fitted. There is quite a difference in size.
  20. Its not mod1 I am sure its 32 DP for traxxas gears. I don't think cogging is an issue but sensored is supposed to give better results although I have never used sensored systems.
  21. Stock is 14T and I am running 18T which is still fairly low gearing. You have to bear in mind that the HK ESC is cheap so there will be more failures compared to a castle ESC but generally they are pretty reliable. The HK 150 amp ESC can be a bit jerky on starting which is more pronounced with higher voltages. It's pretty smooth on 11.1v, which is more than enough power for crawling and trail driving. I usually run on 4S which is more than fast enough for bashing and OK for crawling.
