Afternoon all, Me and the boy have a Carnage and Torro, we've got the same problem on both cars and they're both two days old, two is the number! Please help? 1. Both are not that happy going into reverse, sometimes they will most the time they won't. 2. Both randomly won't beep once on turning on and the ESC light flashes red slowly and the car won't respond, the motors or ESC's are not hot. Sometimes they do this fresh from cold, sometimes they do it in a middle of run. I've been away from the forum for years, my son is now 13 and well into his new RC so want to keep the fire burning! Tempted to sell the FTX's and buy a pair of Arrma Granites for the better electronics and such! All the best and HAPPY NEW YEAR MUDDY FUDDERS!

I hark back to the original e-maxx era... The modern variants like the e-revo and x-maxx are up far ahead in terms of reliability and waterproofing etc!

Thanks, How would i know if the esc is an auto calibrating one then? Just a matter of trying it out with end point adjustment?

Hello, Im digging this one up as im looking for advice on buying a radio with end point adjustment. Ive got a ftx carnage for my boy, its too quick for him and i want to basically half the top speed, will a radio with end point adjustment allow me to do this with an ESC and leccy motor? Selling all the gear I got with my E-maxx (also for sale on the forum) as I'm downsizing. Ive got 3 packs, all in good working order, one is in very good cosmetic condition (one of the 4200 mah), the other two, one 4200 and the 3000 both look well ran but charge and hold charge like a new pack, as all of the packs do. As per the title I have this Traxxas E-maxx in good condition. Only things to note is the front bulkhead upper righthand bumper mount is damaged and the front bumper is also damaged, these items may need replacing soon if they suffer a few more impacts. I have only had it a week or so, bought it for my 5 year old and it was silly purchase as its too big and too quick for him, hence the sale, everything works with no binding of parts etc. This is the Waterproof brushed version with the 27mhz radio gear. Also included is two Traxxas 8.4v 3000mah cells, in good working order. It comes boxed with the poly blocks and cardboard surrounding the transmitter. I'd like

As per the title, ive kinda cocked up and bought a 1/10 e-maxx which is too big for my boy and our garden so ill have to flog it. Im going to downsize to a 1/16 monster, so if anyone has a Traxxas Summit, E,revo or even that new grave digger then Im all ears as long as it's brushed and smaller scale as per the topic title.
