  1. it deppends what gadgets you've got installed On my CR-01 unimog, I use 5 channels...
  2. Wow, that must have been a lot of fun!
  3. If Hitec - HS-645MG - metal geared, splash proof - really unbeatable as a steering servo.... ...apart from the only one I usually recommend, which is Bluebird BMS-660MG+HS reasonable price (~30
  4. Yeah, I know this mog is great - it took me many days to build the body (the spotlight on the top moves left and right actually... from the transmitter, it's got powerfull, transmitter controlled lights etc..) ... but the terrain I go driving is very rocky, there are a lot rollovers - it'd be shame to damage this body. I need simplier and lighter body now... and I love Land Rovers This LR3 you've got is really great! My wife was considering it for her SCX-10, but at the end - for the same reasons - she went for Lexan HPI Ford Bronco. So I'm gonna put HPI Defender on my CR-01, and sell this Mog
  5. Hi. I've got this body for sale: It's hand modified Dixie body, with increased lenght to fit 1:10 models (it's mounted on Tamiya CR-01 at the moment), it has some sratches, but not major, rollcage is hand made as well, from soldered brass tubes, and it has some minor bends, as it has ben used. I spent many days putting it togeter, and it's not perfect, but brings beautifull look to the crawler models like Axial AX-10, SCX-10, or Tamiya CR-01. It was my "Forestry Ranger" project model, but I'm selling it because I kinda moved from scale models into crawling, and this body is full plastic, and it's not as light as lexan bodies I'm planning to use from now on. It can come in two options: 1) full option- with full set (two sections of lights): section 1- main front and rear lights and front fog lights section 2- emergency lights: four red->blue flashing Police beacon (it's temporary fited onto front dashboard, as I could't find proper police roof light bar), rear white spot light, front roof movable spotlight. Main lights use ultrabright led system (20000Mca), rear red lights, and police beacon lights are 5000Mca so you can use this model in full at total darkness Both section are operating from transmitter - it must be connected to on-off-on2 3way switch, or unused hirizontal or vertical rod. Otherwise one of the section may not be working properly. It will work fine on Spectrum DX6i, with gear on/off switch, as the switch can be adjusted from "traveling adjustment" menu... I've had main lights switching on/off using roll in menu, and gear switch to operate emergency lights section (on/off) The two section light system is connected via PID microprocessor switch (included) directly to the receiver. The spotlight on the roof moves left and right, using servo Acoms AS-17 (behind driver seat) and handle system just under the roof. You can see it moving at 2:30 of the movie below: This body requires 2 full channels on the transmitter to work properly: One for servo for the spotllight movement, and the lights 2) body only option - no electrics:no LEDs, no servo, body only with spotlight, and roll cage. Both options don't come with the winch or the front bumper. opt1- 70
  6. Final pics of my CR-01 Unimog Last ones though, as tomorrow I'm going to replace this body with Defender 90.
  7. Thanks... and that's the last one of Mog... finally decided to get rid of unimog body, and go for "The Legend" ...mainly Landy
  8. Here is my final video of my mog btw... this body shell, will be for sale soon, along with all lights, moving spotlight with Acoms servo, rollcage etc.
  9. Today me and my wifie want to take our models out (axial Ford Bronco, Tamiya Unimog) ...somewhere in the park between Leeds and Bradford (Tong) If anybody interested to tag along PM me (for about two hours) cheers!
  10. Hi. I've got brand new hitec645MG for sale. Just installed for one day and tested on carpet at home. Got stronger one now - so wanna sell hitec (boxed as new) 20pounds + postage as wished
  11. Everybody, check the web really good price is 120-130pounds for the set TX/RX Bought mine recently - bloody amazing job. If you're smart, you can squeeze up to 6 analog channels !! (using menu roller as the control tool - fabulous! Still building up ideas what to do with my model now with so many options available
  12. Almost twice cheaper - Spektrum dx6i -(2.4GHz) 6ch, great configuration options...
  13. I've 6ch spektrum. 3channels for acc/rev + turning + winch. Three more left to operate lights and little crane at the back of the truck. I just need device (maybe like the one above) to be able to switch things on/off or maybe on analog channels to provide linear output voltage 0-5V (that'd be perfect)
  14. Hi... What sort of module must I use to connect on/off stuff to receiver channels, like lights, or any aditional things I wanna add to my model, and be able to control them from the multi channel transmitter?
  15. I'm looking for 1:10 scale axle set - front and rear - both with differentials (like tamiya cr01 axles for example) in good condition, comlete with halfshafts and bearings for custom made scale 4x4 model.
