There is no ball bearing and spring that i can see and the engine still runs so dont think its been eaten. Gonna have a look in the morning and try a few things until a new carb comes. B

Its the standard engine on the blackout so i guess its just a clone carb. Ah well looks like im getting a new carb. B

Went out yesterday to retune my Blackout and after a few decent runs cut-out so started back up ran for a few then died again. After some head scratching and checking found the choke lever to be extremely loose so that the vibration of running would close it. How can i tighten it back up as i cant see anyway or is it new carb time. Cheers B

Cheers for your replies I originally took the motor out as i was going to change the ring and gaskets as they have not been done before thats when i found the gasket destroyed and piston like this. I run a 25% mix so dont think it was the mix but when i put it all back together i will reset the carb and check all for leaks. B

Right so took the car out and after a few mins lost power on topend and really bogged out On taking the motor out found the head gasket toast and this was inside. think the piston is toast but not sure about the head B

Selling my TT S50 Sledgehammer as i am into petrol now and this is not getting any use. Has a few hop-ups from standard. Has 22mm hexes so can use different wheels Upgraded wheels and tyres with no wear at all Upgraded exhaust and one piece clutch giving more power with a Nova head for better cooling. Has upgraded shocks. Comes with all original parts with next to no wear on them. This monster truck is a beast with a two speed gearbox and reverse for those oops moments. Its has a realistic 2 gallons through the motor. Will come with a glow plug warmer and battery charger. Will need a charger for the receiver battery. I have not used this for a while so will need a little tuning.
