  1. Bit of an update for everyone The waterpump has now been sorted after much confusion New expansion tank fitted, I also got the garrage to fit my strut brace too, And also cleaned up the bay Next up is wing mirrors and GT loom Got the wing mirrors so i picked them up from the post office, And when i got back me and the girlfriend fitted them She fitted her side, and i fitted mine Ohh and an arty farty shot with my mate's A3 at work Tomorrow is Weller wheels Cheers kieran
  2. Hello ive not seen a thread on these yet so i thought id create one So... Who has one, What have you done etc.. I just got mine today and got it out of the box So whats everyone else done then? Kieran
  3. the heaters should light up mate yes, I assume a dodgy bulb my lupo ones did it every now and again they came on (so i put the lottery on that day) Kieran
  4. Yess Saved you 100 sheets anyway im still pondering on the polo.... Hmmm... lol
  5. This forum may also help you.... And this topic inperticular http://uk-mkivs.net/forums/p/120319/814045.aspx#814045 Kieran
  6. sorry to be a spammer haha! the most posting ive done for around 3 years here lol..... Anyway, Here's a link ill leave you with, I have no idea how they are fitted, however this guy seems to provide instructions... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-Bora-Vents-Golf-Mk4-Bora-R32-GTI-Anniversary-Illuminated-With-Loom-/121046792854?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Model%3ABora&hash=item1c2ef37a96 But yeah that gives you this look inside : Not entirely sure how they are fitted but you should be able to find out easy enough.... G'night Kieran
  7. Whooaaaaa Hella fast replys! lol The audi wheels will be a direct fit you can get them mirror polished aswell if you want the "bling" factor My friend is having problems with the throttle boddies on his, it needs resetting, his idle is lumpy and all over the shop, the origional fault was the PAS Sensor going, basically the car would idle lumpy and rev to around 2k then fall on idle, However moving the steering wheel would settle it down to its normal idle... He has replaced that and now just needs to clear the codes and reset the throttle body and i think he will be okay... Ill try and grab a photo in the light of his, Probley saturday.... but its sitting nice at the moment I have another friend in Lancashire that has a black bora too, slightly lowered but not too far Then another friend who put a 1.8T in his bora and slammed it on Rotiforms, However this is now in a million peices as he broke it for parts shortly after A nice upgrade for these if you dont already have them is the illuminated vents, Great little touch for the inside Like i say, ill dig out some photo's of some bora's that arnt in your face modified and some that are slammed etc to give you some idea's Kind regards Kieran
  8. Nice one rob, Ill be honest im not a Vauxhall fan (VW) However i do admire people who show passion for there cars... Personally i dont lik the front end on this, Looks "Bad Boy" If it looked more sleeper ish i think you could be off to a winner... There's nothing better than irregular cars wiping smiles of faces of powerful cars Keep up the good work kieran
  9. NIce choice there Gaz Love the bora's my mate has one atm he is having a couple of issues with but nothing that cannot be ironed out As you say they are a golf underneith, They share the same frontend almost, Which is where "Gora's and Bolfs" Come into play... Golfs with bora front ends and bora's with golf front ends (blimey thats hard to read!!!) A Set of Audi TT comps set the Bora off well, (See below) If you get them mirror polished then they go down a treat Here's a couple of Gora's and bolfs Hope this helps Kieran
  10. im after a 1.4 andy as ive seen them give better results from the dynosheets than the GT's only a little though :/.... The ABD engines came from the MK3 golfs i belive however i could be wrong Kind regards Kieran
  11. Nothing really much to update, Fitted launch control into the makeshift plate (For now) My mate's dad owns a CNC firm and is going to make me a proper plate But for now she's just stuck in there with what plastic i had kicking around Anyway... Here's whats been happening : Cleaned her out abit.... And the outside.... Swapped the Retro stars for some wellers (Due to be picked up on the 6th) 4-1 manifold fitted Omex sat in nicely with a makeshift plate for now The "Button" Next im after a GT Engine, Or atleast a GT cam for this engine.... Im on the lookout Ive also got some wing mirrors that are coming in the post to replace those horrable ones Thats all for now folks Kieran
  12. what was up with it in the end ? Ive just blown a waterpump so expecting this too Kieran
  13. Cheers will, It'll not be going any lower than that as it catches like mad anyway (As you can imagine) I think ill get it abit quicker with some GT bits and bobs then leave it Kieran
  14. Just a quick update 4-1 Manifold fitted now Pops alittle bit My own steering wheel is now purchased with boss Omex Clubman rev limiter and launch control, I know ill get some stick for this but its ready for the GT engine then Not alot will happen with the car now, Saving up until the end of january when i am getting the dents pulled and sprayed. Chow for now Kieran
  15. i totally disagree with the lupo comments, The lupo engines arnt 1.2 3cylinder, they only vary in 1.0 and 1.4 the only 1.2 that was ever made was the 3L And to be honest, in your price range you aint going to pick one of those up. all lupo engines were 4 cylinder apart from the TDI versions... IMO if i could buy another lupo i would, However sometimes the power isnt there, but then think about it, your driving a 1.0L Great cars and great little dubbers, I miss mine Kieran
  16. Just got my new steeringwheel, The 4 branch will be fitted this weekend
  17. looks okay but i dont like the big pipe out the back... Looks to "Hello im an RS" Which it isnt... Overall looking okay Kieran
  18. You do indeed matt The body work isnt "great" but a respray in the spring will help massively
  19. Well i finally sold the lupo so i bought a 4 branch to show the polo some loving I Then set about cleaning it Cheers Kieran

  24. Hello, here's the new project, full service history and ive known the buyer for a number of years, he was selling his genisis so it seemed silly to pass the offer up Anyway, Out with the lupo and in with the Polo anyway, The car currently has Airfilter Streight through exhaust Starmags Us spec front end Rear strut brace Here's some pictures of it, More stuff will come once i get the lupo sold IE front strut braces etc Thankyou for looking comments would be appreciated, Also am a noob to Mk3 polo's so any advice would go a long way Kind regards Kieran
