Not compared to several xl2's, max 5, alien, old version of flier esc, could off bought a few mgm's

great esc ,programming is so easy, one fast car coming up

programme box, cap bank and antispark wires from flier, great service and turnaround

you will be seeing a lot of the back end of the x5 bodyshell

if it will reverse and brakes are ok it will go in my mcd buggy (alien powered esc no brakes or reverse) I don't like the mechanical brakes on it, if alls well I will get another for my mcd cheetah, if not then it's another mgm

there IS only one solution, might get "done" for speeding though

had one xl2 smoke with a castle 2028, replaced under warranty, others non castle, just not suitable for my application, i'm pleasantly surprised by the max5, shame hobbywing don't a 10/12s esc, I did ask the question but nothing in the pipeline

totally agree, that's why I bought a mgm/lehner combo I wouldn't want to send it off, get a replacement, if I sold it somebody and they had a problem? not worth the grief

you need more power not going to send xl2 back to usa to get a £120 xlx replacement, the max5 is much better

took the mcd mt out with a max5 esc, stunning performance, very quick and kept going

after smoking the replacement crap cc xl2 I replaced with max 5 out of the x5, same set up, same place, achieved a speed of just under 64mph on 8s, esc worked perfectly, nothing broke on the truck, great to have a trouble free run, max 5 is definitely the dogs until I test the mgm

looks bigger than it is, certainly bigger than max5 xl2, good thing is, it fits in the car, very bad thing is, it fits in the mt and buggy

after having different esc's smoke, under perform or just don't work, this comes as a godsend, will be good to get it up and running... just not yet
