  1. Good to see your enjoying it bud does look great . Yeh I did say keep an eye on them shafts but it happens good you going metal just tweak the inner links in to try get less angle on the props without loosing the wheels in centre arch . The 1st company that made the landy rims was Peter a guy overseas from tamiya club same one that started selling the landy body's before others even rc4wd an his was the only ones that never broke all the other ones on the market break at the hex so by you boiling them did you a favour because you will only replace them when hex broke just glue your hex in the rim from start it does help them last alittle longer . An when you re glue tyres only dot it every now & then not glue the whole bead again this will help you get the tyres off easier later down the line. Keep us posted an enjoy your trailing with it.
  2. 5% where does that these days unless credit cards . Don't for get set up fees an all there jargon added extras an warrantys they add on to it small print . My 2 cent would be take your 2k an buy a car out right, never spent that much on drip on wheels just pure nuts, you loose a job etc an carn't keep up repayments you loose it , I'm not saying you will but it's called playing safe thinking ahead. but good luck if you do get the car . Try this site https://www.carloan4u.co.uk/car-finance-calculator/
  3. Flip the wish bones sure that gives u bit more , the tub on ta 01 & 02s are different ones shorter an rear arms can be flipped to get same w b , I fid it many moons ago to get the w b right on a hard body conversion I did on one an rear shocks I just added a spacer dry test one side 1st
  4. Yep my bad 257mm they fit the mst standard setting an there 257 an the tt01 & tl01 tamiya it's only the tt01e that's not 257 but flipping the rear arms makes it 257 if memory right .
  5. Says 190 mm but could be used on 200mm with bigger offset rims like banded euro style lol rat est .
  6. It's non of the above but have you seen these new on the market http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/381110084845?nav=SEARCH
  7. Look pretty cool , only thing I woud do is mount battery up front just behind the shocks so it's sat side ways an keep an eye on the angle of the props at that angle in pics it looks a weak point they will soon break . An add a front chassis brace to stop the chassis flex I know there two up top but add a lower one . Body come out well to nice to see an non landy body rig for a change , keep the pics coming

  9. Welcome bk again b nice to see you still about & into rc still, boy we had some fun on gn & at the gn bashes at j12 meet we did over our way . have you heard off cabbie & any of the others they still about ? 10. I usally cut the arches & all the lower over hang on sides front & rear , then line body over the mounts double checking post to nearest body line on bonnet etc are even each side but give or take abit as body's can move or if mounts are not straight body can move forwards or backwards as it gets lower this can chuck the w base alittle , I mark it with black pen then dremel the post hole just enough to go over post tight that way once fully lowers if it is out a few mm you can slot holes bigger to take up where it needs to go. On body's that have no arch line to work from as some proto form ones don't have I would cut arches after . It could be the Mazda 6 that's adjustable on arch cutting been ages since I did a Mazda 6 protoform .

  14. You got the alloy square section from b&q bud ? It's a snug fit in the centre bruder section you then drill holes in the alloy to match the ones in the plastic that's there use small nut & bolts hay presto . On the top I used plasticard sections wrapped in skateboard deck grip tap comes in mth lengths from ride on holbrooks bridge in cov, an the outer trailer rails I used alloy angle from an old green house but b&q sell it as well. Look forwards to build updates .
  15. No worrys just pm if get stuck, just double check servo not took a knock because it can slip on the spline of the saver or inside servo you maybe setting it correct then it slips under pressure,
  16. Stick with the AA's what mah are they 1200 plus each cell go higher if so. it's a basic tx so not worth attempting a conversion due to room in back
  17. Pricey take servo horn off then central trim then pop horn back on if you get stuck I'm in not so sunny nunny so can help
  18. Few of my wrangler I've had this for time now but only ever run it twice due to working , just never get any man time lol snorkel was made gluing styrene together & high lift jack is styrene , never liked the arches so dremel soon sorted them out. I done most of this last night / early hrs as you do, Still more to do like touch arch paint up & weather it more & poss cut the rest of the tinted windows out the clear stuff was a donor from the outer packaging of a choc cake hehe . Wheel weights added donor roofing lead cut in 1cm wide strips sorted them out free from a roofing job I did before Xmas . Still unsure about the rad front bumper ? Happy Xmas folks .
