  1. Took it for a bit of an off road excursion today, seemed to fair well climbing up and down this mud pile
  2. Haven't had chance yet to properly test them off road, but apart from a bit of whine over 50 they seem spot on
  3. Also took some shots near my real one, need to play about with the angles to get a perfect perspective shot, main problem is I need to drop the camera bang level with the ground but I cant get it low enough, basically it needs to go beyond the ground level
  4. Made a camera mount for my go pro out of some spare styrene rod And a quick test vid, not very exciting, I will make some better off roading type ones
  5. Ya, first class, might be there tomorrow with any luck
  6. Heres a shot with the old tyres, bit of articulation, oh and I think these are the first pics since I fitted the mudflaps New tyres turned up, slightly smaller and tread pattern almost identical to my 1:1 Fitted pics
  7. Yeah sounds good, not sure what would be a fair price really, they've only driven a few meters lol, maybe
  8. Does anyone have any suggestions for accurate scale tyres? I think the ones I have put on are a little disproportionally large. And its impossible to tell from the pics of the tyres alone, was thinking of these http://store.rc4wd.com/Mud-Thrashers-19-Scale-Tires_p_220.html but don't know if they will be just as large!
  9. Thanks! Yeah was part of this light kit http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/111522914459?_trksid=p2059210.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
  10. Getting there! Interior is sitting too high because battery is too thick, need to order a different one Lights in
  11. Yeah I primered the inside. I will just be fitting the interior as it came really. Although you won't see much in the back
  12. Thanks but I have already used these in the build
  13. fitted the grill and the radiator behind Then the check plate bits Wheel arch liners finally in Overall latest pics Numberplates on too
  14. Got a reasonable amount done tonight, first up was the roof, masked off Usual light mist coats followed by wet coats Job done Painted some of the details black as they are on my 1:1 hinges etc Made up the two headlight plastic surrounds Drilled two holes for the 3mm sidelight LEDs Stuck the surrounds on Tinted the rear windows Then set about the arches of which I have finished 2 of the 4, started off with the fine line masking tape then normal masking tape Sprayed up
  15. I too was going to use the windows and fill round them, but when I offered them up you have the trim around the edge that sits proud, and the glass itself which actually sits recessed slightly, so very hard to make all that even, well for my limited skills anyway, so I just cut to size some 0.75mm styrene sheet panels and stuck them over, they are thin enough so you can barely tell they are there. I also wanted to fill in the sunroof and side roof windows, however after having a bit of a play decided not to venture there, I will just end up making it look worse.
