  1. Theres a thread in rc tech about this. Link
  2. In my opinion the stealth was a serious contender to the leadership of his segment, it had everything, good handling chassis, fast and reliable engine, stock metal gear steering servo, and the most important, a competitive price. Hpi puts a bigger engine, swap the metal gear servo for a plastic one, and the buggy costs more

    HPI Blitz ESE

Release date should be around April or May, I'm not sure though. As for the price, around $240 in the US. Link

    HPI Pulse 4.6

£370 , I bought mine for £240 and it came with a metal gear steering servo. Hpi puts a bigger engine and crap servos and it costs more £130. It must be a hell of an engine. There's still one stealth on modelsport. Link
  5. There is already a thread in the buggies forum. Link
  6. I agree, a new shell with a nice paint job would be nice. I really like the look of carbon fiber and it would make the buggy lighter, think I'll order some parts as soon as they are available. I changed the brakes for this ones and they made a huge difference, it brakes so much better now. Have also changed the steering servo for an ace DS1015, and put the stock steering servo on throttle and brake. Changing the diff and shock oils is also a very good idea. I use 5000wt-5000wt-2000wt (diffs) and 40wt (shocks). A friend of mine put the hong-nor big bore shocks on his stealth and he says the buggy is much better.
  7. I know this topic is a bit old, but here are some photos of the new Hpi Pulse SS/ old Stealth XB. This shows how good the stealth was, hpi turn it into a racing buggy (probably not on the same league as the H8, losi eight, x-ray, etc., but still very good). Hope now we can get some spares and hop-ups, this buggy deserves it. More photos here.
  8. I've been looking for an electric car, think I found it! Any info on when is it going to be available?
  9. The charger doesn't have a built in balancer, thats why I need one.
  10. I own an ansmann xBase deluxe charger and want to charge and balance (at the same time if possible) this lipo. This one on modelsport looks good, but would prefer something cheaper. Are the balancers on robotbirds any good? Link Which lipo balancer do you guys recommend? Thanks
  11. Get some nyloc wheel nuts. I had the same problem with my maverick stealth and since I bought them never lose a wheel nut again.
  12. Bought some EDS tools a few months ago and use them every week. Still in perfect condition. The ball end hex drivers are the best IMO. EDS ftw.
