Did this to my mates nokia 930 in the pub one night. We locked it out for 10 mins by entering the password wrong too many times. He comes back and decides to be clever and get past it with a soft reset. This soft reset also changes the clock, off which of course the lockout timer is based on. It changes to a time and date in the future, bang, locked out for 40k mins. Really rather funny.

In situations such as the above it really is down to the suppliers delivery times to the seller. We deal with a large tool supplier for our online store and some items can be on order with them for months on end. There really is nothing you can do about it. Even if we chase them they just quote the normal "2-3 months".

Set the camera up (nikon d300) to get some pictures of planes flying over to a nearby airshow, got some good shots with some high up light aircraft, was confident I had the perfect setup to get some good shots. Leave the camera for a few minutes, then the perfect opportunity, two hurricanes doing a low and slow pass by, grab the camera and get a few rather crappy shots, wondering what happened I look to dad when he says "oh I put the camera back on automatic, that's the best way to do...
