  1. Didn't you also ban yourself by accident Nick? Might have been just from chat, can't remember
  2. I hope those parts include a roof mount for the bikes. Not only do those tail ones look hideous, they also block your rear lights from proper view. :/
  3. This really is a great camera that should be out there getting used, not sitting in a box in my room. I'm off this week so it would be ideal to sell it soon.
  4. Prescott hill climb last Sunday, a little damp! Photo thanks to Gary Harman www.garyharman.co.uk
  5. I tend to just read what I'm sending first. Retards, Tim
  6. Because for it to be anywhere near decent he needs to overclock it, which needs a Z97 motherboard and water cooling. Much better off with the Quad core i5 in my book. At least you know how that's going to perform and can be used just fine with a mid or even low range board.
  7. Intel with 8.1 I have no idea why people moan so much about windows 8.1 It's really good. Install classic shell, set it up as you like (which is very easy) and set it to skip the metro screen. And there you have it, a faster, more stable, more up to date and feature rich version of windows 7 If you're spending that much already I'd throw an SSD in there too. Or at least swap that blue drive for a hybrid drive: http://www.scan.co.uk/products/1tb-seagate-st1000lm014-25-solid-state-hybrid-drive-sata-iii-slim-6gbs-8gb-ssd-64mb-cache-pc-mac
  8. I LIEK TURTHELS!

  9. Hi guys Selling my no longer required Panasonic Lumix FZ45 bridge camera after upgrading to a Nikon D7100. I'll not list the specs here or I'll be here all night, but these reviews list what you need to know well: http://www.trustedreviews.com/panasonic-lumix-dmc-fz45_Digital-Camera_review http://www.techradar.com/reviews/cameras-and-camcorders/cameras/compact-cameras/panasonic-lumix-fz45-712629/review It's in totally mint condition throughout, with only two microscopic marks on the screen, which are honestly really tiny and you'll have a job finding them even when looking for them. Includes a 4GB SD card good for 677 14MP photos and a carry case. Every item from the box is included and also in mint condition. As you can see from the box this is not a grey import, which were supplied in plain white boxes. I'm looking for
  10. I'm pretty sure there's a few out there that can do it quite well with a good quality app. The new galaxy tab s for example is not exactly lacking in the horsepower department.
  11. Hmm, charger has starting making a bit of a whining noise than it never made before...

I reckon a fan...both my hyperions do this now, noise settles down after a short time...

these little devices and likes run small 40mm - 80mm pc fans, they tend to be the cheap brass bush bearing design, in hot weather and running they tend to get a bit squeaky/noisey, tbh they should be on a thermocouple to a temp sensor, with an adjustable override to ramp them up or down when user requires

    4. Oh How Original

      Oh How Original

Mine also makes a noise for about the first 15/20 seconds of charging, I've just got used to it now because it doesn't get hotter than normal and still operates fine.

  12. I had a Citroen C1 for my first car and that wasn't bad on insurance at all. While I had a provisional it cost me
  13. I was sure there was no way I'd be able to build my quad even as I was ordering all the parts. But some amazing videos on youtube and a few helpful guys on here made it very easy. Mine was around
  14. And it lives again haha Wiggled one of the switches a bit and it works again. Still looking to buy something better though. Its 95% trust rating from me has gone down to about 55%
  15. Well, the 9X has just packed up on me! Just get "switch error" no matter what guides I follow online. Think it might be a sign though. It's an ok radio I guess, but I'm flying this thing every weekend and want something with a little bit more of a name to it. Also might want to expand the range of copters soon too... Looking at the DX6i at the moment, any others suggestions greatly appreciated. Would be looking to spend up to
  16. Not sure why I didn't think to do that Will see what I can mash together tomorrow...
  17. Short clip from today Sorry about the sound, there was quite a wind, as I found out when I went too high! Must have got caught in a nasty gust and before I knew it, it was off. Within seconds I lost memory of which way it was pointing as all I could see was the X of the frame as it was being blown away! Got a bit lucky in being able to point it back towards me and gun it forward to land somewhere near where I took off. Did have my brother with me who had already gone sprinting after it to spot it land if I had to kill it.
  18. Just had an excellent first proper flight Massive thanks to everyone who helped in the thread, it would still be in the box without that Short video to follow
  19. Super glad I got the hubsan, would have no hope without that teaching me the basic controls
  20. Did it I didn't realise that auto level turned itself off on power loss. Only in a small garden with solid objects such as a shed and washing line (stupid I know), but I managed to dodge it all. Longest flight was around 30 seconds about 4 foot off the ground Couple of small dents and scratches in the lipo from the bad landings and poor mounting, but other than that no harm Now hurry up weekend...
  21. Right, good video that. I've just tried it in the garden and it really wants to pull to one side. I can't lift off without the blades hitting the floor unless I punch it up. Once up it's off all by itself where ever it wants to go. Already bent a set of blades. Is this normal or have I missed something?
  22. Ok, it turns on and it seems like the correct motors spin up or down in accordance to the control inputs, but when I move the quad around with the motors going it seems like it does nothing to correct itself. How do I turn the auto level on? Also, anyone got any decent pi gain setups? (I've no idea what that even means!)
