Hi all, well my un-used losi 8ight buggy is up for sale as i simply havent used it. Its RTR spec but had a STS 21B engine put in with STS pipeset has the standard losi servos but other than that no radio gear. Has the losi wheels and 2 other sets of GRP wheels/tyres. Also comes with losi starter box (no battery) and o donnel fuel. I rebuilt it all before use and put proper diff and shock oils in. I cant remember 100% but think the diffs are now 5-7-2 and 45wt oil in the shocks. Basically the car and equipment was brought and took it all out to run in it, with the sts engine being tight it kept locking on compression until the starter battery ran flat, i then brought it all home and its never been out since! so even though its had fuel in the tank its never actually ran wanting around

Lol! loving them pics rover man...how do you find the reliability and has it got the proper range rover leaks? Id love a landy or a range rover (wud av to be ure shape looks beefy!) Looks like you have found a nice calibra tho mate! 4wd will be great long as it keeps working obviously..however without it means less weight ...less weight...more speed

Looks good mate am a big fan of calibras, finding a good one that hasnt been to the moon and back is a hard task atm tho! but means value is steadying! Is it the 4 wheel drive one then? most of them ended up as front wheel drive adn the 4wd system didnt like to work for long periods of time! join up on www.westmidsonline.co.uk - and ask what to check for, find out if its had regular cambelts as if they snap its a dear do partically on the LET engine! Power wise there around 205bhp std.. + exhaust and intercooler and boost controller its prob around 220ish.. maybe, vauxhall people can tell you more! But be careful with that boost controller ... bit too much and .. boom! lol Would love a turbo! and undera calibra shell is uber cool! Nice first car mate! I looked into minis to! cool little cars!

the torque of the diesel must be fun on motorways! was quite shocked at how well my grandads Vectra DTi Pulled... and thts only 5speed box and about 120ish bhp i think... so dare say you do have some'poke'

Lol, from 1.1 to 300bhp nice! - So 300bhp..thats a big gain, its the 2.0 16v redtop engine? whats been done to it as there 150 std..think the v6 was 170ish (unsure!) so im guessing its had some serious mod's to get that kinda power! If its the redtop it must be boasting throttle bodies etc! which wud be mean as [CENSORED] as the noise is immense! And na.. unluckily its not a williams (only came in blue) nor is it a 1.8 16v which were 137bhp... it is in fact a beasty power boasting... Renault Clio 1.2i RN and just to add insult to injury its the 'club med' model (where do they get there names from!!) But hey its a first car.. had a few things done to it Lowered 35mm Magnex Exhaust 16" Megane 16v wheels EBC brake pads then left it as i wanted it look good and not chavy! It started life as a RR, basically i was big into rallycross racing (Still am...weather and lack of track atm due to one thing or another are putting it on hold!) I use to run a GS Storm and need a wing mount and was meant to be racing next day...mount didnt turn up! id been looking a lightnings for a while, so thought well nows a better time than any, *dammit!* no pro's in stock..so the rr wud av to do! Binned the engine, radio gear etc dropped my stuff in, including a TOP 421B race engine on the std soft diffs and went for the race! However if you wanna tlk lightnings maybe we should have another topic as were kinda hijacking the thread here or add me on msn Lee

A duff cell in a battery pack can cause this, it could however been 'electrical noise' due to your reciver being on top of the motor... you should really try to keep them away from one another, and tidy your wises up dude!!

If your shell comes off with bodyclips (not the screw on type) you should be ok! Mesure the with of the shell to see wether its 190mm or 200mm
