  1. Not that long really, about an hour or so. Liking the sock idea, but i usually just belt it around the street, so its straight from indoors to out.
  2. Anyone got any suggestions. Ive had some probs with runtime in the cold. Outside temp is about -1 to -5. I know that all batts are affected by temp but to go from 25-30 mins on 2 packs of 5000mah to about 5 is just ridiculous. Anyone else having probs? Its just so white and crisp outside......................it needs trashed.
  3. Looking really nice now it's finished bud, and, how satified are you that you did the conversion.

how can you even think of playing WoW when you have a MMM E-Revo and 6s' sitting around? :o

  6. Read this.........................
  7. For gearing mate i would use what traxxas recommend, cant remember what it is but its on there site. As for pinions, i use rw racing ones, available from Modelsport or ebay. Running 6s is a true eyeopener, hope you have plenty of room. If your gonna use badlands make sure they are taped. On of mine ballooned and the foam insert ripped and was thrown to one side of the tyre. Mate, 6s in a vehicle of this size is great fun. You truly wont believe the power.
  8. Thats great news bud. As for cvd's, you dont strictly need them, just be a bit lighter with the throttle application.
  9. Were you on holiday or do you live in Aviemore?
  10. Hey stupar, is that taken from the viewing terrace of the Ptarmigan? Looking onto Loch Morlich?
  11. As promised, pictures of 3905(newer grey ones) bulks fitted to a 3906(older black one) chassis. If you want to upgrade the driveshafts then you need new steering knuckles as the new driveshafts use bigger bearings and are thicker. The second picture shows the main difference between the two bulks. The older ones are not curved or oversized. Louder, you could go with just the aly chassis from the T. It shouldnt be that unbalanced if you place everything correctly, and it allows a fair bit of freedom for batts. The only thing i changed was the tranny, purely to save having to fit another servo for the mechanical brakes.
  12. Sound like it's just them bulks. I have bulks from a 3905 fitted to a 3906, I'll post pics tomorrow for proof.
  13. I apologize in advance if this has already been covered, but remembrance day is there for us ALL to pay respect in silence to ALL that have lost life's, in wars, in honour of this nation, yeah? ( Primarily brought in for the first and second world wars). Do these plebs not realize that there were Afghan's, Pakistani's, Indian's, Saudi's, Omani troops all killed in these wars also? The video shows Extremist's (wouldn't even call them Muslim cos they ain't) Shouting " British soldiers burn in hell" and the like. Sorry, but as i understand it, is that not inciting hatred? Which is, as far as i'm aware, is illegal? Thanks for the backup plod. Normally i don't respond to these threads, however remembrance day is something thats close to my heart.
  14. G, what about a skate backpack. Stick all your radio gear, batts, spares and blah inside and use the straps on the outside to tether the summit too.
  15. You got a picture showing the bulks and the chassis? Post it up if you do.
  16. I probably wont, ever. Its a basher!!! The nearest club to me, unfortunately is 60 mile away, now you lot that live down south might think, ha, that's piff paff. But the roads up here are sh**e and the drivers are even worse. So thats at least an hour and a half away. Realistically mate, a 120A would be overkill for me. It might be fun though.
  17. No, however, I went through the process of upgrading my e maxx 3906 bulkheads ( black ones to grey ones) driveshafts ( new thicker ones) and steering knuckles a while ago. I am sure there are slight differences but the screw whole pattern and diff housing hole's are the same. Looking at the exploded views the only difference seems to be the rear portion of the bulks, where the two screws come through the chassis and into the bulks, seems to be bulkier. Louder, which model of T is it?
  18. What are the dimensions on the esc buddy?
  19. Welllllllllllllllllll, I don't know man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm gonna thrash it around the school and crash into stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!! And no!!!
  20. Should do, you will need different size driveshafts though.
  21. Here's a picture of my standard (at the moment) TA-05 IFS.
  22. Sounds good bud. A quick warning. STAY AWAY from kershaw's aly bits. I used the e maxx motor mount that allows larger motor to be fitted, the machining on it is the worst i have ever seen. I'm am not saying its weak ( although the aly used looks the cheapest i have ever seen as well) as it hasn't broken yet. But the larger items i.e. the aly chassis, i would stear well clear of. As for Fast Lane stuff, i believe its areet, you might be better doing some reading on the rcm forum as i think its more popular in america.
  23. Regardless Matt, you dont need a 120A ESC for a TC. Anyway, I think Joe's original post was a bit tongue in cheek. I'm gonna trim the chassis a little to fit the sidewinder.
  24. Just because you can, doesn't mean you should...............I think maybe 60A hobbyking jobber will do me fine. 120A.........that would be me putting a MMM in it.
