Rob5
Hi everyone, looking for some advice. I had an rc lunchbox back in the 90’s and most of it, bar the servos and rc kit is still in my dads garage. My son is now 8 years old and would love an rc car and I would like to revive my old one if possible. I’ve got battery, charger, frame, wheels, body. Think I just need an rc system, servos and a few links etc. Does anyone know what system I’d be best buying and where is the best place to buy stuff like linkages etc. and get it up and running again? thanks rob
rob bark
I would scrap old mechanical speed control an go with hobby wing 1060!! Found bits on modelsport.co.uk could get pack with steering servo and radio gear altogether!! Unsure on what car parts you need but Tony's tamiya parts on eBay will more than likely have what you want!! Think you can download instructions for lunchbox from tamiya site if you don't have instructions that would give you part numbers!!Sent from my ONEPLUS A6003 using Tapatalk 1
Rob5
Thanks for that @rob bark Do you have a link to that? I’m literally clueless after 20 years not using it. Thought it would be a nice thing to pass down to my son but I’ve little idea how to get it up and running again.
