HYPER-BOY
From your pic it looks like you've made your mind up lol... For me - the Truggy - Better for bashing, better ground clearance, better handling, much more fun. All in my opinion of course, plus I think they look better too! Deafty
I thought you got the truggy 2 years ago mate?
stevo2551
I've got the trophy buggy flux, love it
Anthoop
better handling, ..that is a debatable point....a smaller/lighter car with smaller wheels will always turn faster and have "better handling" given everything else is equal.
Rc-Bfg
Deafty i had all the funds ready to buy back them and had a major family issue came up so had to be an adult and spend it on life lmfao. But all sorted now and i still want one. So just not sure wat to get i love the look of the truggy still. And yer the ground clearance on it will be an advantahe as my pal lives on a n old mine so there is lots of rocks hill climbs for it. mydoddy69
Personally after owning both I'd recommend the Hobao St or St pro as both the buggy and truggy have quite a few areas that need attention and both require a fair bit of tinkering . This said tho I always look out for a cheap truggy but I wouldn't buy new again ..
Deafty
+1 times have changed , trophy prices have hardly moved, but the st pro has come down. It is also superior in many ways Money is definitely better spent elsewhere. If u can afford the pro , u get better value / bang for buck over the st. http://www.modelsport.co.uk/hobao-hyper-st-truggy-pro/rc-car-products/28366 *Requires: RC system, Engine, Engine starter, Fuel, Glow starter ETC. Rc-Bfg
Cheers defo wrth look at the one ya put up. How long do lipo batterys run for
Deafty
5000mah gets you about 18-20 mins. But it's all relative as how fast you drive. Flat out speed runs will drain pack faster
Rc-Bfg
Plenty to think about for sure. 450 would see me buy a new st pro and the relavant parts to get running. Brushless would orob be a better option no engine tuning as such so alot easyer.
