thepurplewizard
Morning all, Just purchased myself a KM Baja 5B after 3 years out of the RC circle. Doing a complete strip down and fitting after market additions (Turtle Racing braces, plates etc), whilst I have it stripped back I was wondering what is the best oil to use in the shocks and in the diff? I mainly use the 5B for bashing, will be used around and old quarry, so very gravely.... I was reading 10,000w oil is best in the diff and 60w/40w Rear and Front for the shocks, is this correct? Any further expert advice would be kindly received! I shall follow shortly with pictures of the project Cheers all! J
Noj
10,000w is heavy for the diff, depends on your driving style of course, however, 5/6000 may be better. Re shocks, hpi shocks use anti foaming shock oil, not silicone, as it destroys the seals, assume KM are the same?
