JConcepts is spot on with the release of the new vehicle with a Carbon Fiber option for the front shock tower. The stock vehicle comes standard with a fiberglass unit which carries all the original geometry; however, it lacks the pizzazz, strength and appearance that Carbon Fiber can provide. The new shock tower maintains the classic geometry but includes detailed reinforced areas adding strength in key areas as well as the improvement in material creates a more rigid feel, increasing the response in the front-end. So if you are reproducing a retro car you might want them However Back in 1989 I had Fibrelyte towers, and when I got towers for my current RC10's I got Fibrelytes again.
