savvydjdeuce
Should I or should I not get aluminium hop up parts. Wishbones, upper arms, steering arms, rear hubs, etc for my trophy ? What are the positives and negatives of these upgrades . Any replys would be grateful thanks
chrisknights
To be fair mate , in my time of rc , i found to keep things stock plastic as it can bend and flex , with ali hop ups , it bends and stay bent and becomes weak ,
norcoforever
arms especially you want to keep plastic, the flex is needed otherwise they 1. just bend and 2. transfer the shock to somewhere else doing a lot more damage Edited February 16, 2013 by norcoforever
UltimateRC
Once you upgrade something to aluminium you just transfer the energy to another part or bend the aluminium. Say you upgrade the arms, you just transfer all the energy to the bulkheads or even worse the chassis. Only upgrade minor parts which don't get too much stress. Upgrading hubs and hub carriers is sometimes a good idea but definitely keep the suspension arms plastic!!
Chasman
Would just upgrade the rear hubs and servos, all you really need with these buggys
