  1. Nice job! How do you get the screen shots? Sorry, I'm a PS3 fan myself but I did get an Xbox360 primarily just for Forza 4 so not sure how to go about doing this
  2. LOL, swearing???? Where??? Are you another posh daddies boy??? Is Fraggle a swear word in your world??? LOL!!!! News everyone, the word FRAGGLE is absolutely disgusting!!! Fraggle Rock was what I grew up on, those disgusting people at ITV, I will have to sue them for damaging my mind!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6dXFWL7l7A0
  3. I'm amazed it has not blown yet!!! You lucky, lucky man you!
  4. The dummy didn't come out, I'm just not the sort of fool who is going to put up with anyone even trying to insult me, tell me I made a mistake, I can take that, just don't think you can come on and even try and insult me without getting a mouthful back, I would never come on here to insult someone, if they have made a mistake, then mistakes is what we all make. And as for sympathy??? The whole idea of me posting this was to make sure that no one else makes the mistake that I did and there will still be plenty who will not know of the dangers. Once again, more presumptions, wooden floor you say, try laminate, which actually has remarkable resistance to fire, even after what had happened it is only scorched, admittedly I will need to replace it, but, only scorched and not wood like you said! Wasn't it David Brent from 'The Office' who said 'never assume, because it makes an ASS out of U and ME, well in your case your just making an ASS out of yourself. And as for research, I am new to Lipo, all I had to rely on at the time was my local Hobby store who apparently knew what they were talking about, I had no reason to disbelieve what I was told as I was told by someone who knew far more about RC than me. Now then, the advice you give about the storage, now that is actually helpful, so I will actually thank you for that! But Lipo bag is on the agenda first!
  5. Cheers Mark, nice one mate! And me posting this was to pass on the mistake, at least I am man enough to admit mistakes, there will still be plenty who will not know of the real dangers that can be caused by Lipos and what you can do to avoid them
  6. There we go, someone who isn't a Fraggle, nice one mate, cheers! Not too much, gonna go to the doc's shortly just to be sure and thanks!
  7. Oh right, I see, Bazzokajoe came running to you then did he? Pointing an issue out is fair enough, but to come on and try insulting me is another, advice I can take and if you read the post you will see that I react completely different to someone just giving me advice rather than trying to go all Mr. Perfect, advice I will take all day long, someone that tries insulting me, I won't stand for under any circumstances. Do you think that coming on and trying to insult someone after they have had a nightmare is the right way to go about things? If so, then I will have to remember that one. And as for putting everyone else's life at risk, there was fire alarms, a certain someone just presumed there wasn't, and where it was there was no clutter and nothing really flammable which is why there was no real damage, so rather than over the top presumptions, maybe just advice would be more appropriate, if it can be reliable! As for charging the Lipo, I was advised to do a slow charge to hopefully restore the cell, not a Nimh charge, and yes, I did see that thread by Revorocks, as this was a brand new Lipo I did not want to go to the lengths of cutting it open. I was contacted by Hobbyking to say that they would not refund or do anything about it without a cell reading, but as I could not get a cell reading because of the fact that everytime I connected the balance lead it would come up with 'Connection Break', not warnings, just a connection break, which in my charger manual simply says that the 'battery connection is interrupted', so all I could do is rely on someone elses advice, just like you, you relied on someone else's advice and it went belly up for you to, but unlike you, I was not informed of what could go wrong. The Lipo was not subjected to an excessive charge, it simply had it's first charge, and a slow one at that, once it was done, there was no signs of swelling, this I do know to look out for, it was gently placed in my hallway, away from anything flammable and was there for almost an hour before I went to bed, still there was no swelling, until 3.30am this morning when it decided to go on one! Now, in hindsight, a lipo bag would have been advisable, yes, a lipo bag was next on my agenda anyway, but, yet again, I actually do know of a few people who have Lipo's and have had them for years without Lipo bags with no problems, and as for saying, 'if you have a dodgy lipo, dont charge it', well that's all very well in saying that, and it is very easy for you to say that now, but, again, was you there giving me that advice beforehand? No, I had to rely on someone else's advice, things happen to everyone and it is easy to point the finger, especially spoilt little brats who get their daddy to buy everything, but again, wouldn't advice be more suitable? If your mate can't stand getting back what he tries dishing out then maybe he should put a zip on it and maybe just be helpful, if he can't say anything nice or more importantly constructive then tell him not to bother, I'm saying this to you as you are obviously the puppet master! And as for the other fraggle, him carrying on like he has never taken advice and acted on it is just plain ignorant! As an Admin, shouldn't you be taking the middle ground? Advice is fine, insults is not, if you insult someone, then you should at the very least expect it back and if you can't take it back firstly, don't dish it out, secondly, don't go running to daddy when it comes back at you, surely that is right?
  8. And there we go, yet another fraggle, another one who thinks they have never made a mistake! Yeah, I am new to this and yeah, I am still learning, I have to rely on recommendations and advice but at least I don't try and act like a Mr. Perfect when someone has had a nightmare, that's the act of a FRAGGLE!!!
  9. Whoa!!! I am amazed that is only 2s as well, that's the second truck I have seen running 2s now and both times they have shocked me on how rapid they are!
  10. Flaming Heck!!! Were they the ones that you could peddle backwards to apply the brake? The days of BMX'ing, CW handlebars, Mushroom Grips and if I remember correctly, Mag Wheels and RCS wheels, the ones that could allegedly bend and to reset them you put them in the freezer, although that never happened to me, god knows I tried!
  11. Definately, once I'm through with today, getting a Lipo bag and making arrangements to store them in my brother in laws garage, at least that is empty all the time and I have the spare set of keys
  12. Yeah, live and learn indeed!! And very lucky indeed, how's your Tenshock doing? Trying to decide on either the Sirius or the Tenshock as my next motor
  13. You Lucky Charms eating b*st*rd!!! Quality!!! Does make me chuckle!!!
  14. Oi, fraggle, go post somewhere else or go get your daddy to buy you some new toys you spoilt little brat! Making assumptions on stuff you know nothing about! Complete Fraggle!!!
  15. And there goes Mr. Knowitall, never made a mistake have you!!! FRAGGLE!!! Go get your daddy to open his cheque book for you again!!! Sarcasm!!!
