Ok so two slightly different sorts of car here but these are the two i have decided with. Good well known makes, now the deciding factor will be based on: Strength and durability of stock parts Availability/Expense of spare parts Which chassis is tougher for jumps (im guessing the Riot but correct me if wrong please) If the above is true then how durable is the trophy over jumps? (Does anyone have one or a link to a decent review of either model somewhere please?) Thankyou please

Fair comment but i drive a fast-ish classic car and i dont thrash that all day long because i know what would happen, and im gonna treat the RC car with much the same respect because an engine is an engine and they all have limits. Fair comment regarding the reliability then speed argument but some interesting points have come up in this thread about both cars but can i ask what a failsafe is please?

Sorry I meant the figures for speed outta the box, Im aware of it needing running in, My friends still needs running in too, cant remember what he's brought at the second very true, but if i get used to it i've gotta buy another engine or a faster car, but if i buy a fast one to start with then i can use less throttle, therefore costing nothing

Thanks for your tips both of you great help. I still wanna race my friends cars so speed straight outta the box is important to me. I don't wanna buy a particular model and then find its too slow and be buying upgrades straight away because it can't compete in the likes of acceleration. Anybody got any rough figures for me so i know? Cheers guys again

I have had electric cars before but not for some time, and interested in going nitro with eith the Hyper 7 or HPI trophy 3.5. I want something thats fast fun and easy to manouevre, jump and all the rest of it, also strongest chassis is important too. So which of these two would you guys recommend? I'd also like to know points if anybody else know them for example this ones faster but the other one handles better etc Cheers Guys
