  1. Morning all, I've decided to return to the hobby after 25 years out so have acquired a used 8ight 4.0 nitro for playing about with and learning. On first look over theres seems A LOT of play in the front wheels/axles, they move in and out 4-5mm clonking as they do so. This doesn't seem right so would like a bit of advice from the more experienced amount you. Is this a normal amount of play in the front of this type of car, if not is there a way to stop it I.e. shimming? Thanks G
  2. As the title suggests really, are there any scaler clubs or events in the Bedfordshire area, or even some enthusiasts that fancy meeting up in the area? I've recently discovered the world of scale rc, and in particular crawlers, and really fancy meeting up with some like minded peeps and getting some inspiration and advice.

  7. I'm in Surrey, West London way. Not a million miles from Heathrow.
  8. I've decided to sell my HoBao Hyper 8. This car has seen VERY little use and is in amazing condition, a great way to save some money over buying new. I bought the car last September and spent some time properly running the engine in. It was used only on concrete in a local car park about 7 or 8 times. I hadn't tightened a wheel nut up correctly and it spun loose and I never found the nut - the car hasn't been used since!! I considered getting the nut and starting racing, but around the same time I started downhill mountain biking and I could only afford the one hobby. The run down of what's on offer: - HoBao Hyper 8 RTR - RRP
