I tried it on the kitchen floor this evening not much space but curiosity got the better of me i applied full throttle on the polished floor all the that happened was the rear of the car waggled but it went straight as a die so it seemed to have a positive effect

I have bought cars before that had top cells in them but because they had been left connected they were b~#*erd so i wouldn't.

As our new club has a bit of fun about it i have fitted a gyro to my tt01 chassis i have set it to steer into a skid (drift) but not tried it on the track yet but theoretically it should make it easier to put power down after the bends enabling the car to track straighter. Has anyone tried this and does it work as i will not get to try till Wednesday night. This is just for fun and the advancement of science i know there's probably rules against but worth a try i thought.

sorry i was away the weekend and was just trying to catch up. the tyres have silicone on them it's the old method of getting grip on carpets.

Hi i'm wanting to sell a 1/12 cefx rolling chassis and shell which has been knocking round my model room, i'm wanting to get a 1/10 car so i can join a local club and need to finance it how much should i ask for this chassis it has a Sanwa 141hr servo fitted. My local shop said if i take it he could part ex it i would like to know what would be a good price.Thanks for any help. Dave

Cheers chaps i finally got my second hand hyper 7 goin this afternoon after taking advice from your goodselves i have got it back on 25% and have it tuned. Also i had to fit an alloy servo arm for the steering as the nylon ones kept stripping which is why i think it was sold but the .21 turbo is now running sweet and very quick! all ready for my first race meet on sunday thanks again for the advice . Ok thanks would it be wise to buy some byrons 25% and continue using that?

Please help i have a second hand hyper 7 with a 21 turbo engine i can get it started but as soon as i remove the glow starter it cuts even with a new plug could it be the needle settings if so what should they be?. i have put new fuel lines in could it be this? and have also put the lines through a gauze type filter which had been bypassed. i have checked all the screws are tight i am using byrons 16% but the last owner used dynaglo 25%. The original plug i think is long but i tried a new short plug with the same result. I'm sure it's not fuel starvation as with the glow on it runs fine. Please help

I'm told it's a .21 turbo was that the standard engine fitted i can't find much info on the engine so any help is appreciated.BTW which is the hsn and lsn please excuse my ignorance

I have bought a second hand hyper does anybody know what the factory needle setting are it's a 21. engine i'll be running it on 16% byrons until i can get some 25%. it's been run on 25% dynaglo up till now.

Yes i think the higer % the bigger the bang so potentialy faster and more power i think, but probably to the sacrifice of engine wear. i could be wrong though. the engine in the one i've bought has been run on dynaglo 25% i think i'll be using byron 25% in it.

Am i correct in saying the plug is still in use after the starter is removed the coil in it is kept hot by the combustion of the engine so it may be an iffy plug

May skip that then and hang on for a hyper 7 seems to be a popular choice loads of spares on ebay. i know it all depends on spec and hop ups but is there a ball park figure for a decent second hand hyper7?

Hi i have just registered so this is my first post. a local club has just formed racing off road at the moment predominantly monster trucks but they are looking at joining the brca which i assume will open up all the classes i have raced electrics many years ago but all the new stuff is mind blowing. I must admit i'm not a great fan of monster trucks but i keep an open mind. my questions are as follows. Are monster trucks raced much they look a little top heavy?. What would be a good buggy/truggy to buy? Are there any restrictions on engine size?. Is it worth buying second hand or would i be better off buying new?. I am attending meetings so i can see how cars perform before taking the plunge. Any help is greatly appreciated. Dave
