That's Great that HPI contacted you so quickly, and secondly had the decency to send you another chassis free of charge. Not even postal charges by the look. Another option to fitting washers may be to fit a gap filler at each end of the front drive shafts (inside the cups) FG do these. Instead of having all the play at one end it splits it 50/50 and they are soft so there is give if you need it. This should help sort it (if not already fitted) Good vid & garden.
