  1. There is also Stockport Rccc (Cheadle) which is quite close
  2. I found the LTC-r to be pretty good on my 417, although I prefer the blitz G35 it seems more stable. (although I run mine on foams)
  3. Tamiya did TB01 carbon mounts. I think you could also buy a chassis plate for the TB01 as well (The original TBevo was a carbon version of the TB01)

    ezrun problem

did you ever solve this? i have the same issue with my Code controller and an ezrun. I have set the memory to default and calibrated the Esc to the throttle but it just goes mad on full throttle all of the time. When I use a different receiver (27 meg or spektrum) its fine, as is using the code receiver on my other esc's (Other brands than ezrun). Help!
  5. To quandra - to upgrade the 415 to 417 plastics you can buy the tb03 sets of uprights and c-hubs. The entire set is less than a tenner, pop in new bearings (again less than a fiver) and hey presto! As to a spool I just used my trf415 spool. What was your issue with using that?
  6. Agreed, however at our club we run 416's, ta05's and 417s the c hubs, uprights etc all get shared alongside with the 415. It's cheap to update it to the 417 plastics as they are compatible. So unless you break a chassis plate or bend a bulkhead (I've never done that in 25 years) you will be ok running a 415.
  7. Just FYI the older TRFs (415) can take all of the modern suspension plastics etc. I have a 415 as a wet car that has 417 running gear installed, including a Gear Diff in the rear. Fitting a lipo either involves filing the bulkhead, or just hanging it out the side (The preferred option).
  8. Personally I think they are in the right, your feedback was a bit out of order as you had good comunication and feedback and you penalised them for delivering you an item in the timeframe stated. They are just victims of the eBay system. If you don't get perfect ratings eBay can stop you listing goods etc. That's why they are offering an unreasonable customer something to ensure they can keep their livelihood.
  9. I want to go to northwich, its just that it starts a bit early for me to make it, after getting back from work. There is a healthy, growing onroad community in the NW, (Stockport, Crewe, Urmston etc) We have lots of regular racers, and a large host of newcomers. I think allowing mardaves and buggys is always a good move, you should state it on your site. The key is to make an open and relaxed environment, if its a good place to hang out then the club will be popular.
  10. Stockport rc is in cheadle BTW. It's mainly onroad as buggies seem to have hit a decline and we are getting lots of new onroad 1/10 guys. Bury is the best bet for buggies (1/10 electric) its a great outdoors circuit and its getting more facilities over time. Urmston also races RC oval, mardave bangers and stock cars. It's on Saturdays and Weds evenings. All 3 are friendly clubs, you should come and take a look and see what ticked yer fancy. Btw I am interested in this new club, especially if it's on a nice flat surface.
  11. At the weekend a few of us had a RC rally. There were 2 M03's and they went surprisingly well on the rally track. They were std apart from larger wheels (One with Mini spikes and the other with rally blocks) and extended shock bottoms,.
