  1. Lol maybe i need to borrow that arm of yours I did agree with what you said before, and it makes sense as it saves you money! But if i cant help but wrench on them screws and if they round off i got to get something stronger if it's available And i think were all gifted in different ways Yeah your right Flextek did make a nice titanium arm set but like you said they are discontinued and i haven't seen a set available anywhere but will keep a look out for them O and have found the rockers that are going on my eREVO they are made by k-factory which i have also there clamping wheel hexes and they are good quality but then again i suppose they dont really do to much lol but will find out if the rockers are up to the job soon enough Heres a pic of them should be here probably by next week or sooner hopefully http://www.cmldistribution.co.uk/cml_product.php?menu=rc_cars&productId=0000000948&galleryImage=3
  2. Got the screw sets off ebay mate, they came from the usa as i couldn't find any here at the time and since was ordering a few other bits made sense Yeah it would be great if traxxas did give you a option to have a different chassis. But the only ones i have seen on my online travels lol. Is the kershaw design ones. Which have read mixed reviews on it, But thats it really mate, haven't seen any other company produce a chassis for the erevo
  3. Yeah thanks for the info but have already got wings fitted to all my revo's Wow mate that beast dose look awesome. Can we have a peak under the shell? There's something about it that just draws you in
  4. Hi Ting I really do know what you mean as i have to be careful even with quality hex drivers as i have this strange tendency to sometimes over tighten screws I need some sort of mini torx driver Well i know the steel drive shafts should last you a lot longer then the plastic counter part. Thanks again guys
  5. Hi mate Thank you for the kind words i am really getting to the finish line, shouldn't be more then a couple of months really and then its done. And wont really do anything with it but just use it. Maybe change the odd bits and piece's if need be, but nothing too drastic Thanks for suggesting the hot racing rockers they do like pretty good will give them some more thought thank you. And i cant stick a nitro engine in it mate, well i could but i have already got a nitro one and would like a quality electric one aswell Hi Ting Thanks again mate I have already upgraded the screws on it They are a stainless steel screw set on there and the black screws that look pretty much like standard ones are fullforce rc 12.9 hardened screws so have got the screws covered mate Hi mate thanks for the kind words buddy And your right i almost do have another complete revo. But sorry i am not selling it. As i have promised it to a friend off mine really, but if he changes he's mind will let you know Hi mate The stock screws are good i suppose but at times i seem to have a problem with correct tension as i once had a bit of a bad experience many years ago not tightening the screws enough and they started to come loose I like the screws nice and tight and sometimes i have rounded the standard screws but with some care and consideration i suppose you are right and dont really need to change the screws but i know having stronger screws does help me And yeah lol you can never have enough titanium mate The standard steel pillow balls are more than adequate really tbh. But wanted something a bit different. So after having a look around i found few different ones available and the main one is Lunsford titanium pillow balls. But for what they are i couldn't really justify the cost of them, So after having a few good quality parts from 3racing already. Went for there titanium pillow balls which i think will be perfect for me, as they are titanium and thats what i wanted with out the giant price tag for eight balls! And just for the record peep's there are only four products i know of that are real titanium from 3racing, there pushrods, tierods, pillow balls and hollow balls. The rest of the parts they have, where there is more than one option are aluminium and anodised different colours. So i know the more experienced people would already know this but dont want any one to get something they might buy and regret expecting it to be something else, Just look out for the "64" in the items name to be sure as this number has something to do with the grade of titanium used
  6. Back to work i guess, and all i can think about is fixing me poor little beaut!

  7. Hi guys Hope all is well there! Have got a few more bits came in the other day. Nothing to fancy, but i think some nice little touches. Some rpm pillow ball set screws. 3 racing titanium pillow balls. And the avid bearings with all important stickers came in aswell! Come on we all know stickers make the car go that little bit faster traxxas high performance front brake disc and a hot racing dual vented rear brake set Should improve the rear braking a heck of a lot more then the standard traxxas i have got fitted on there at the moment and look a bit better too (it is of a Jato but have done some reading on it and it should fit with a touch of light grinding on the chassis, although it is carbon fibre did have me a little worried so will have to see how huch i have to chop before i make it final) Well still haven't managed to fit the modded gearbox yet, but hopefully will get there very soon. Still on the look out for some nice alloy rockers, looks like will be going with the 3 racing ones, but still searching around Thank you
  8. Oooo that does look pretty good mate, Like the silver on there! really fancy
  9. WOW that looks amazing mate, really nice work done So slick and smooth, really nice mate
  10. Cant wait to see it But if i am not at the grand unveiling blame crysis 2 and i will catch up soon after i kick some alien booty
  11. Wow Mark Thank you, will have to print out a copy and stick it in my eRevo folder Thanks again, i think i can get my head around it after all
  12. LMAO that guy sounds like he was having some fun . Sorry but seriously, i can only speak from my own experience and there fine for me. I am not associated with any rc manufacturer and these are my own opinions on the proline 40 series. The only reason i am getting the phaltline mate is i like to have variety thats all and i think they look good . I have been using the the 40 series road rages on and off for nearly 4 years so if they were as bad as he claims, i must be a glutten for punishemnt Or maybe just not giving them enough lol. i haven't really experienced too much ballooning as long as my wheels stay on the ground and thats with all of them i think. Try and get a cheap set from somewhere mate and see what happens as you said your in no rush to get a set of the road rages. Either way the option is yours
  13. At work and need to get home asap should be a busy day ahead!

  14. Thanks mate for the kind words Well have followed the guide to locking the the 2nd gear now just have to find some time to install it and give it a test to see what happens But my crysis 2 should be at home so might take a few days break from this. Also can any one recommend some good alloy rockers? do like the look of the 3 racing silver ones. And do you guys think i should get the alloy shock mounts? if so any recommendation again please.
