Clearing out the workshop i found a pair of pistons from an 883cc harley davidson sportster. They are no longer required so i've decided to see if i can sell them. You could reuse them as there is nothing wrong with them, or you could use them as some kind of ornament. I have cleaned them up a bit and did start polishing one. In the sale you get, two pistons, set of used piston rings, and the metal rod that joins the pistons to the con rods. The pistons are 59mm tall and have a diameter of 76mm. Im open to offers as i dont know what they're worth, payment by paypal.

Yeah just swap the spur gear around. You probably won't see better top speed, but acceleration should be better.

I'd guess the front as the rear diffs normally have lighter oil in them to allow the wheels to spin up a little bit.

If the above doesn't help, try giving it a bit of throttle to get it started

You'd have to double check but i think its around 230f (100c)

I think spider diffs have six internal gears, this makes the power go to the wheel with the most grip, rather than the least which is what normal diffs do.

If this is the electric firestorm make sure drag brakes are off on the esc settings. And on the TX make sure the throttle trim dial is set in the middle.

Im not sure how accurate the radio will be, but you could test the sensor by putting it in a pan of boiling water. But first i would tune by performance and making sure there is a good trail of smoke from the exhaust, and check the temperatures once you're happy with performance

I presume you're trying to strip the engine down to clean it all up inside? To try and get the piston moving, heat the crankcase up with a hair drier this will expand the piston liner hopefully allowing the flywheel to turn.

Opening a dispute holds is funds so i should be ok

I aked the admin and they said he was banned for having multiply accounts, and selling items he doesn't have. If i'd of known this before paying a deposit i wouldnt of bothered. In the paypal dispute he has said that he can't refund me as he is in the middle of another dispute, so it looks like i'll have to escalate it and get paypal involved, and it looks like he has possibly scammed other people

I think you're right. I have now filed a dispute, as it's not worth risking more money, and if he doesnt respond in 24 hours i will escalate the claim.

Yes but he says he isnt a scammer so wont refund it.

Recently i paid a 50% deposit on a item from another forum, however the member has now been banned because they beleive he is a scammer. However he is saying that he was banned because he used his account on his friends computer who is also a member of the same forum. Now the good thing is i paid the deposit by paypal goods so i should be able to get my money back, however im unsure what i would put on the dispute form as the seller could turn out to be legit and tell paypal i hadnt received anything because ive only paid 50% (which is true)? So should i pay the other half and see if anything turns up or just open a dispute? Thanks
