  1. Have you thoroughly read through the instructions? I thought they were rubbish at first but take time to read through them and youll understand it better. it says in the running in instructions on the second page about 8 lines down. it says something along the lines of " during breaking in, yoy will experience engine malfunction problems with your engine such as stalling and bogging down". patience is the essence my friend. It happened to me but if your pulling back in a fast movement with the throttle controller on your transmitter then the engine will stall. you need to do it slowly, no jerking on the throttle controller. oh and this topic should be under general nitro
  2. so shall i put a hole in of the band and put that on the end of the throttle rod and one end round the air filter tube?
  3. ive had a look and i think the reason may be that the main throttle (bar?) is not returning all the way back through to where it starts at. so how do i go about fixing this?
  4. right guys got me hyper runnin around and have got through 3 1/2 tanks of fuel(at last ) but i have noticed that the when i go to about half throttle, hold the trigger about two secs and then let go it sticks and carries on reving for another 2 secs.
  5. ive got an 0s n0#8 should i use that? or could i clean the glo plug and use it again? how long should i pinch the fuel line for? and if i pinch the fuel line i should be able to rev it?
  6. this morning i set up the throttle linkages so that there was a 1mm gap in the carb and its stopped high reving i started it and left it to idle and it got through two tanks in about 15 mins! also whenever i took the glow start our after starting it cut out. and the same thing happened when i applied the slightist bit of throttle ??????
  7. i will have a try with setting the needles and ill have a look at the gap in the carb do you think my lbs will help me with it for free as im pretty skint at the mo
  8. has anyone sent anything back before for them to fix it? if so how long did it take for them to return it?
  9. do you think i should send it back to modelsport and get them to fix it? as im a newbie i know bugger all about nitro and seen as its kind of their fault? what do you think i have tried changing the switch to reverse and neutral and neutral seems to make it have even higher revs
  10. right ive tryed this and got one little 1 min go round my lawn lol ive adjsuted the throttle trim and it seems to make it better but sometimes it just goes back to what it was like with full revs:its annoying, but patience is the essence i guess
  11. the thing thats really making it difficult to adjust is the high revs- i cant even slot the screwdriver into place because of the vibration!
  12. ive tried lowering my idle but it just keeps revin high i think it might be a air leak somewhere the main reason the glow plug jumps out is because the engine is running on such high revs that it unscrews itself before i can tighten it
  13. ok so i got my hyper running for the first time vvveeerrrryyy high revs and the wheels were spinning like mad at idle so fast that i couldnt let it sit on the ground without it running off fuel was spitting out of the engine and then suddenly the glow plug popped out because i had no time to tighten it after i started it ?
  14. well ive bought me self a hyper7 now and ive already flooded the engine so ill get that sorted this morning. i just need to take the glow start of charge and hopefully (fingers crossed) she'll go
  15. just gotta wait till me glow starts charged then ill be able to start it
