  1. i'll ignore the insulting tone but the baja is one of the few models that wears out and breaks differently depending on who is using it and what upgrades they use i found the suspension arms, steering servo, and the gear box are good examples.
  2. i find the shock set up makes the biggest difference on a bajas handling, the toe in on the front wheels make a fair change too. rear toe in, camber and diff oil are more fine tuning imo
  3. depends on how you plan on driving it. the baja is one of the few models that breaks different parts for different people. the petrol baja i have for example started out as a 2.0 rtr, so much is upgraded because of the large jumps i've done with it in the past, but even though its done those jumps i've not broken the arms, while many others have and upgraded them because of it.
  4. i realy couldn't be sure, i do know these are more or less the same as the maverick Ion and rc18t in terms of size but thats about it, comparing it to anything else would just be me guessing. i did find a group photo of the car with some of my other models so maybe that will help? it between the fg marder and hpi baja at the back, the 2 buggies are 1/8th
  5. i don't know, i've not seem a mini t in person before
  6. its a 1/1/18 scale from wheel wall to wheel wall/ left to right is about 16cm
  7. No, the actual Baja is named Sheila, the woman on the bonnet is just a random picture i found online.
  8. Selling this HPI Mini Recon which i converted over to brushless. comes as you see in the picture, running a Turnigy XK2430 - 5800kv brushless motor and a 30a ESC (not sure of brand) battery is a 2s nano-tech 1500mah 25-50c discharge, car runs for about an hour on a single charge. completely stock other than adjustable turn buckles, comes with a RC18 Nissan shell painted green, fits very well. you will need your own charger and your own TX & RX to run Looking for
  9. well here is what Sheila looks like not that it matters now, may be time to move on for the bajas i think.
  10. wouldn't have much of an effect on the air flow, instead of it all coming through the pull start it will just come in through the crankcase instead. an less you did the crankcase as well its not going to make much difference, it will just take the easiest route.
  11. i use one, don't use the avc thing though not that i know nor care what it is. still only thing i notice is the delay between pressing the trigger and the servo moving the throttle, get worse the further away the car gets but it not a lot, at least not enough to make a difference to running, you kinda auto matically adjust your driving for it without noticing.
  12. choice is yours, but like i said, the dominator i had didn't have a dent and it had the rpm bumper around it for the whole time.
  13. well i got my sj4000 only to find out i don't have a micro sd card, so much for doing more filming.

Wouldn't of been fast enough to record quality anyway mate. You need a San disk extreme or other action cam sd card.

Class 10 works just on standard settings but doubt 1080 or slow motion.

  14. found afew pics but i don't have one that shows it well with a dominator exhaust, only got pics of no exhaust, the samba v2 and the cpi big bore. here is the cpi one
  15. thats the one fella, i may have a picture, i'll see if i can find it for you.
  16. they have done for quite awhile, Rear bumper and a rear skid plate. run them on both my rigs, the rear dominator pipe i had on it never got a dent on it, and i tihnk most people have seen the jumps i put it through by now.
  17. Rpm one looks better and does the same job imo.
  18. long as you give it a good shake and the container is sealed well it will be fine to use. some of the fuel it got is 2 years old now but the cars run fineon it.
  19. stock rears are 5wt stock fronts are 40wt
  20. you could say that but the reality is the time scale and delays i've had with it are on 95% down to just not having the money to do anything, as it stands i've already sold off 5 of my former models, of the 4 cars i have left i'm only just able to keep the flux running, the rest have been out of action for 2 - 14 months.
  21. flux is all fixed, still waiting for my new camera to arrive so i can get a video filmed and edited to show her off a bit though. few other part got printed too but sizes are off so no point showing them until that is sorted out.
  22. HPI have a aluminium version that are meant to work but shocks that fit the rc18 should also fit.
