something some of you may be interested in, little design i came up with that takes out the bulky battery box, the steering bit could be used in a shorty too. This have been given to Jay Richard who i know on facebook, he is printing them out on his 3d printer for people, both on their own and as a set.

Time for change. Starting with ever spare baja part i own, some new some used, mostly pointless stuff but few good ones in there, the silverback rc 5b rear wheels, silver back beadlocks, hostile 57t spur gear, new bearings, shock parts (great for rebuilding 6mm shocks) and many other smaller parts. pretty sure i found everything, minus the car themselfs but should i find anything else i shall send them with. not worth the time splitting so i'm not going to. whole lot for

Selling this Proline Desert Rat body shell for the hpi/km baja shell is brand new and still in its original packaging, still sealed and comes with everything you would expect if bought from a store.

i'm yet to have a rear shock fail on me so i guess its working, won't do anything on a engine with a cut shroud though. if the shroud is cut then it will be fine, the cut shround wouldn't have much effect on the air flow from the flywheel but it would allow some cool air over the fins when driving, means the far side will be cooled with cooler air rather than the air thats been heated on it way up the fancase and over the other side. cut shoud can have an effect on the cooling while the car is idle though as there won't be air flow on one side, depends how much you cut off though.

yea i figured it may be. you will probably find the seals have gone, the air from the flywheel gets blown out the shroud and directly onto the shock and tower, tends to make it abit hot and blows the seals early. hostile do a deflector that screws onto the shroud that direct most of the heat directly out the back over the exhaust which stops the shock getting all the heat. you can also cut the end of the shroud off so its more dispersed instead of having a bit of a funneling effect. the blue bit on the engine is the hostile thing i mentioned above
