Thanks guys... The other thing I have after reading around.... is that - This is a common problem on the TA-03.... If the car has a knock the motor sometimes moves etc... Hence messing up the alignment of the pinion and Spur.. ...and if u carry on running it (like I did) - This is what happens

The motor can be mounted in different angles / positions right? How do I know what way is correct etc..?

Can I use '3 in 1' oil?

The gear and the pinion are both from the kit - AFAIK. (But how can I check the pinion is correct?) I played with the car today - After a long time... So I'm not sure how long it's been like that. But as soon as I started running the car - I could hear a un-healthy sound from the gearbox area.... and then finally the car stopped

How does this look? How do I know I'm using the correct pinion etc.?

Hi all, I'm about to fit some metal ball bearings to my TT-01 - I just wanted to know weather I should apply any grease to them? or anywhere on the bearing? when fitting? Also - Any particular type of grease? Thanks

Hi all, The aerial wire coming from my receiver has been damaged - So I want to solder on some new wire etc.. Can I use any wire? or is this aerial wire special? Thanks

I think i sorted it!! I tried another radio transmitter (Acoms Techniplus) and it works fine - Goes into Reverse everytime.! So I think I have a dodgy Transmitter!

Thanks for the replies guys - But the problem is intermittent i.e. - Sometimes - When I'm flicking it into Reverse, the car moves straight away - But sometimes, it doesn't. So I have release the trigger and hit reverse again...

Hello all, I'm a newbie on here - I recently bought a Tamiya TT-01 from flea-bay and I think it has an intermittent problem. It has a Tamiya CPR-01 ESC / Receiver (all in one jobbie) When I flick the trigger into reverse... The car sometimes doesn't reverse straightaway - I then have to release and flick the trigger up again and then it reverses..... The reason why I think something is wrong is because this is only happening intermittently What do you guys think...? or Suggest? Thanks
