# Finally got the balls to drill my Yokomo Shell And painted my mate's new shell too.

The surface isn't quite finished yet, I think we have to wait around 4 months for it to completely set, then put the sealant on it, which should make it super slippery! It's fun at the moment, patches of grippy and slippy spots keeps you on your feet!

Getting there, after all my drifting career on tarmac with T drifts, it's a huge shock to come on or concrete! You should convoy up with us some time, the first 3 visits are free! With power, and refreshments inside also. The cement mixer is awesome! Drifts amazingly, and can quite easily keep up with normal drifters, haha.

The newest purchase. I love these wheels. And 8mm also, so I've got a lot more lock than the 5mm wheels I was previously running.

Yup, the people that drift up here do it for fun, I help them out with tyres and stuff, and they enjoy drifting 50/50, in car parks or whatever. They're not as serious about it all, and going down, paying effectively

I simply can't afford all weekend. the cost of having to buy (more) new tyres and the petrol to get down there, it's a lot of money to spend

Going up on the 9th matey, as there's a free drift day from what I've been told, drifting from 1pm till late! The chassis was pretty dusty after a few hours of drifting, but it's only until it gets polished again and sealant put on, will it get cleaner! I guess it's a fair trek for you guys to get up, saying that, it takes almost 2 hours to get there for me! I'm smack bang in the middle of teesliders and soul! I'll also be booking myself into the competition shortly

Probably not matey, I've been hoping to come down since it opened, but I simply can't afford Petrol/Tyres/Comp fees Maybe some point this year i'll make it!
