  1. So far they have survived several high speed barrel rolls + two major crashes (still practicing with the 19t)
  2. Hi everybody! I haven't been on line for a while, but I have a question. I currently have the Tamiya CVA minishocks http://www.modelsport.co.uk/?CallFunction=...mp;ItemID=28991 , but I then I found these two items... http://www.modelsport.co.uk/?CallFunction=...mp;ItemID=28991 http://www.modelsport.co.uk/?CallFunction=...mp;ItemID=23306 Is it worth changing to one of the above or should I stick to the CVAs?
  3. you should have bought a tt-01d in the first place to save you the hassle .Never mind though. Just read the description of the tt-01d to get an idea of the parts you'll need http://www.modelsport.co.uk/?CallFunction=...mp;ItemID=28055
  4. Hi all, just out of interest, has anyone created a proper team for racing or is part of one? I don't mean teams from manufacturers like tamiya, schumacher etc but teams people have created for unnoffical or brca races. just out of interest...
  5. I broke my tt-01 with a 19x1 race motor. I dread to think what a brushless system would do to it. Listen to the others and buy a better car. P.S: tt-01s' are supposed to make good drifters, but i've never tried it. Just an idea...

  7. what servo do you have? if it's an acoms as-16 or as-17 then it probably needs replacing (they don't last long, trust me.).
  8. PLEASE DELETE THIS POST AS I'VE FOUND MY ANSWER IN A PREVIOUS POST
  9. Hi all, which car would be better touring on race tracks? This: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/YOKOMO-SD-CGM-4wd-Co...Q2em118Q2el1247 or this: http://www.modelsport.co.uk/?CallFunction=...mp;ItemID=28072 just thought I'd ask before I buy.
  10. Thanks guys just asking in case I take part in a BRCA event as I have quite a few body shells (none legal).
  11. It's basically public liability cover, so the club/track can't be held responsible if you or someone else enters club/track property and injures themselves i.e you're your own responsibility.
  12. Hi all, I know there is a list of bodies for the brca that you can use but there are also body dimension limits. I was wondering, do you have to abide both or just one i.e legal body + dimensions OR dimensions only. Thanks in advance.
  13. Try fleabay, though you may have to order from the states.
  14. Hi all, I was racing my tt-01 down at my local car park the other day when my car slowed to a crawl. Me being me, I changed battery and then it ran fine. HOWEVER.... When I got it home, I smelt smoke, so I took off the body only to discover my dynamite 12t esc was literally frying itself. It was a wet day when I used it, but had done this before with the other motor (silver can) and everything was fine. Also, the car was acting slow last time I used the corally when it was dry. After ruling out wet conditions I figured it must have been that the motor was to strong. If so, what esc should I get? The motor is a Corally black series 19t single spec and I have a maximum budget of
  15. A short circuit, caused by little fingers playing with the wiring order on the plug ( most likely the previous owner)
  16. I think so. It's more than likley that thats the cause..
  17. Ch2 should go to throttle not steering
  18. Did you buy it new or second hand? If it's the latter, I'd say you've been ripped off.
  19. The reverse of how you put it in.
  20. Have you checked that your crystals are the same frequency? Also where do you use it? You could be receiving interference if you are using it near a built up area. 1) Check crystals 2) Take car to the middle of no where 3) You could have an electronic malfunction. I aslo had a esc problem with my tamiya tt-01. I know your using a msc but the principals the same. Check every thing is connected to where it should be. Also, does your receiver have BEC? If not, then you need a receiver pack or one of those AA pack thingies you get with the radio gear.
  21. Oh you've got a mechanical speedo. Erm... (sniff) I don't know how they work but I think it's knackered. Whatever the problem, I think you should upgrade to an electronic one. P.S: It is mechanical, isn't it? I don't race offroad so I can only help you with the electronics and radio gear and don't know half the things you find on a buggy
  22. You have to follow the esc instructions for that. However, it usually involves pushing the reprogram button on the esc (normally the only button there) and then inputting the controller movements according to the instructions
