Just to confuse things a little further,a friend of mine just bought some TA02 gearboxes in blue,they came with a pair of front uprights also in blue,but when i looked at them they were in fact TA01 uprights,taking two 1150 size bearings. The way of making sure of the difference between TA01 and TA 02 uprights,is the size of the bearings,TA 01 takes two 1150 and TA 02 takes a much larger inner one and the outer one is slightly larger than an 1150 which is the much more common size throughout Tamiya builds. I seem to remember the Hummer used black gear cases and had black TA01 Manta Ray uprights,but don`t hold me to that as i`m not 100% The kingpins between TA01 and TA02 are also different,TA01 are silver in colour and have a longer step in the shaft. TA02 are black in colour and have a shorter step. HTH.

Tamiya 3 speed Hilux Hilift body,i`ve had kicking around for the last ten years or so,waiting for something suitable to fit it onto,i bagged some Tamiya Mountain Rider decals a year or so ago which are rere of the original 1990 Mountaineer. I have all the lenses and light buckets too.

Not sure how to post a vid,not got a youtube account or owt,but yes,been busy on this one,i found a second hand Outback last week,it`s got an old RC18 ESC and using an E-Flight TX/RX. RC4X4 split rim alloys,genuine Tamiya Mountaineer interior and glass,got to paint,decal and fit a full light kit to do over crimble 3000mah lipo velco`d behind the dash,so should give good run times. I`ll do some better pic`s and body off when i get some better light. cheers.

Stretched wheelbase by 32mm, removed rear shockers and mounts to get body to sit lower and fitted some Tamiya touring car shocks to the rear directly to the chassis rails.

Hi, i still have my monster Apache C1 as a roller,only 1 in the UK as far as i know,HB quality truck,so was very expensive to build,helical difs and UJ`s all round including center ones,very good condition,only run on astro turf. Viewing / collection from Leeds West Yorks.

Cheers. There are two rare Earth magnets,one dangling off the front of the Apache and one off the rear of the Tracker,when/if the Apache cuts out,you just back the Tracker upto the front of the Apache and the magnets snap together,it works really well. The Rescue boat is not very fast but has loads of torque and will tug the Apache with no problems at all. They both look superb in the water.

Offering for sale my super V large scale power boat,it's got a water cooled race tuned zenoa engine with lauterbacher clutch ,water cooled manifold and exhaust pipe, 2 brick servos,temp and battery gauges, scale drivers, foam filled front end. She has only been in fresh water about 5 or 6 times in the last 20 odd years,so hardly run in. I also have a water pump new in box to go with it and some period paperwork. cost well over a grand to put together.looking for £550 or very best offer. After suffering a stroke I'm struggling carrying my large scale stuff,so sadly it has to go. Rescue boat is an MFA Tracker 46" with twin 850 electric motors,has twin flashing strobe lights £150 will only sell at this price to buyer of the Apache at the asking price or very very near. no radio gear in either boat. collection preferred due to size.Leeds west Yorks.

Hope these work? Just a note as well, the hubs are 17mm standard 1\8 drive,so it will take most wheel/tyre combos. She does have a couple of light scratches underneath, if you need better photos? I'll have to try in better light. Any questions, please don't hesitate.

Mainly D8T (suspension,wishbones/turnbuckles and CVD`s) and Savage/Lightning truggy wheels n tyres,the C1 is only 5mm shorter than a D8T. A Baja 5b wing and a Vorza wing mount. All the parts were brand new,it has CVD shafts front,rear and both center ones. The front shockers are Vorza rears with long shafts. HTH.

Hi , i`m offering up my Apache Monster for sale,it cost about £400 to convert to "Monster" status,using only genuine HPi parts,this did/does not include the base model. So,it is just a roller,no electrics at all,i do have the original motor and ESC which was run one time and then removed in favour of the Torx and 6 cell ESC setup,the truck has only been run a few times on 4 cell power,driven on dry astro turf,never crashed or been on it`s roof(flys superb)also never clipped a turd or owt,so no nasty niffs. Comes with the off road wheels n tyres only.(road tyres have been used on another project but are still available from HPi) Best offer of £250 or more before the end of the month please. Stock motor and ESC will be available after sale for £100 as stated is like new. RRP over £200. No prob`s,hope you find what you`re looking for

I have a spare set of 2.2 HPi Geolanders,on hong nor 12mm hex fitting, deep offset rims,no inserts,very grippy and deform nice with some weight on them. they are white rims painted silver alloy,but the paint has flaked off in places,tyres have no wear or damage. Seen here on my Tamiya F350 3 speed. Tyres/tires are glued on.They peeled off when tried unglued very soft rubber. £25 posted inc fees.

Doesn`t look like perches are included either,so you will still need some. I have a set of red alloy shocks with loads of spring options,complete with nice alloy perches,but the first time i used them one of the threaded caps popped it`s threads off. Poor machining. perches are ok though,they are like new,good shafts,springs bodys and some fittings. £10 posted for the lot if you want em.

The Cossy is only any good as a shelfer really,if you breath on them hard the bodyshel splits,the detail is so good but the cost is they are so very weak,first light bump and it`s cracks,front rear and sides,i still have a couple i built in the 90`s,never run,all the ones i ran (7 or 8 of them) just fell to bits.
